A Lo Lishmah situation is only possible in a deistic/theistic worldview while an atheist-humanist do good for the sake of doing good worldview can only be Lishmah as there is no possibility of redemption by a god-being. Would be interested in your GFers view of Noahide laws. Thanks for the video.

Is the Passover Sacrifice an individual or communal offering? They said to Hillel: Our teacher, if one forgot and did not bring a knife on the eve of Shabbat and cannot slaughter his Paschal lamb, what is the law? Since he could have brought the knife before Shabbat, he cannot bring it on Shabbat; but what should he do in this situation? He said to them: I once heard this halakha from my teachers but I have forgotten it. But leave it to the Jewish people; if they are not prophets to whom God has revealed His secrets, they are the sons of prophets, and will certainly do the right thing on their own. This is how the Talmud emphasizes the idea of the Passover offering being an individual one, and it was different from all other personal sacrifices, by way of slaughtering & sprinkling the blood on Shabbat!!!

Ramban (Nacmanedes) in his commentary to Numbers 28:2 says the following about the sacrifices in the desert: The reason [for stating this command here] is that after He had said, Unto these the Land shall be divided, He completed the commands relating to the laws of the offerings which they are to observe in the Land, since they did not bring any Additional Offerings [of Sabbaths and festivals] in the desert, as I have mentioned in Seder Emor El Hakohanim. Likewise they were not obliged to bring drink-offerings in the wilderness, as I have explained in Seder Shelach Lecha. But now He charged those who were to come into the Land with the duty of bringing all [these offerings] there - the Daily Whole-offerings, the Additional Offerings, and their meal-offerings and their drink-offerings. And although He did not say expressly here: “when you come into the Land,” He has already mentioned it in the section of drink-offerings, and He hinted at it in the first section dealing with the festivals. Rabbi Avraham Ibn Ezra in his commentary to Exodus 29:42 says the following about the sacrifices in the desert: "They shall bring these offerings when they enter the land of Canaan. For the Israelites offered burnt offerings only for fifty days in the desert of Sinai. This is what Scripture means by "It is a continual burnt-offering, which was offered in mount Sinai" (Num. 28:6). The tabernacle was placed at the edge of the camp at the bottom of the mount, as the tribes were intermingled. On the first day of the second month they began to know the number of each tribe and to make standards (Num. 1 and 2). After they traveled a distance of a three-day journey from Mount Sinai, the ark journeyed in the midst of the camps (Num. 10:33). Logically speaking, the Israelites offered burnt offerings and sacrifices only at Sinai and on Yom Kippur in the second year. This is what Scripture states regarding Aaron’s service. The Torah there writes, And he [Aaron] did as the Lord commanded Moses (Lev. 16:34). Scripture similarly states, "Did ye bring unto Me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?" (Amos 5:25). Israel spent about thirty-eight years in a wasteland, in a howling wilderness (Deut. 32:10). Where did they get half a hin of olive oil and a half hin of wine daily? How could they carry almost fourteen thousand hin around with them? Where did they get two lambs daily in the first year? Where did they get the animals for the additional sacrifices on the Sabbath and the festivals? The statement we and our cattle (Num. 20:4) does not refute our contention, for Israel was then at Kadesh, and they bought cattle from the settled population. Furthermore, they looted the Midianites and the lands of Sihon and Og in that year. They thus had an abundance of cattle

Wheres the mentioning of dinosaurs in that bible hmmm.. they went extinct and then MAN came along and wrote the book long after they went extinct. It was to controll the population with fear. Apparently the earth was made in 3 days.. maybee he should have taken a week at least to perfect this scummy rock and the creatures he apparently created in his image. Wake up wake up wake up!!!!!! In addition to the use of our sense of smell, Rabbi Herzfeld added that: It is forbidden to smell chametz of a non-Jew or Jew on Pesach to derive pleasure. One shouldn't go out of one's way to derive pleasure by smelling Chametz but if one is minding their own business one doesn't have to leave the area where there is a smell of Chametz. (this is according to Shulchan Aruch Harav & Beiur Halacha)

Sorry. Instead of saying: "42 letters" in the Ana B'Choach paragraph, I should have said "42 words". The 42 letters (as an acronym) are printed in many Siddurim next to this paragraph that we recite before Lecha Dodi on Friday Night
