Whirling Water The most epic canyon in NZ
Back in March 2024, I had the chance to join a team composed of Leo, Leo, Reto, Richard, Andrew and Troy, and attempt the first full descent of Whirling Water (V6.A6.V). Here is the video of the about the adventure.

How long did you have to hold your breath for? And is this shore snorkeling or did you have to rent a boat etc? Pls let me know. Ty so much!
We were in apnea between 1 and 3 minutes, I would say. Depend the preparation before to dive ;). And you can go straight from the beach, no boat needed. :)
@@adricamventures than you so kuch for replying... i am scared of water. and have recently taught myself how to swum via youtube lol... in ok with shore snorkeling did quite alot at Thailand but the one where i have to jump of a boat was horrible, this was in Sri lanka. very scary. ill check this out ty!!

Did he though? The fish looks like it is protecting its nest and it can bite. So he should swim away and leave her alone and not laugh and kick it with the fins. He did not know better I think.

Thank you Grace, Go to Amed and ask the best Spot for snorkeling to Evolution Diver Center ;) You can also rent the snorkeling gear there, it's good stuff !
Did you hire a guide in Amed or you just go by your own? I'm planning to go there too in June and check the japanese shipwreck and the USAT liberty shipwreck in Tulamben. I'm a little bit scared to freedive alone because no one will rescue me in case of blackout.
