We are never satisfied. We're always looking to improve and find more speed.

Yes, the only we may miss is early August. You'll be turning it with the steering, brake, and throttle at times. Ideally, using those three will get the kart around the track with as little steering input as possible. It helps to carry speed. We'll see you soon.

@@brookingmotorsports6873 dang... it might rain Saturday for Shellhammers I'm gonna try and be there its hard to plan 3 hours away .

@@cupwalker24.7 Yes it is. If Shellhammers cancels, we thought about heading to Flat Run to race with that new group but they set the weight for us very high (#475 for a 250, they race at #500) IMO. We've raced with some of them before and been very competitive, hence the weight.

@@brookingmotorsports6873 I'm just sitting here pacing in circles trying to decide to make the 5 hour round trip to Shellhammers or I was thinking flat run also !

@@cupwalker24.7 That's a hard decision. How far is Flat Run? We'll have everything ready but only have a 45-minute drive. We need to scale though. I broke down and mounted tires for four hours last night. I spent an hour and a quarter this morning setting the beads.

None. We keep an eye on them and change to a harder compound if necessary. We look at the wear and decide what to do. With the Intermediate, we race at 425 lbs. Our first sets of new tires we used for about a season and a half. That's 10s, 20s, and 30s. We'll also run practice/warm-ups on junk tires at times. We don't race weekly either.

And it's fast.... Just as fast as cr500s or stock 450s

@@cupwalker24.7 We certainly try. He has to carry a lot of speed and get back on the gas before them.

We're hoping to race the Appalachian Indoor Showdown on February 25th & 26th. It's in Wytheville, VA, and promoted by the owners of Millbridge Speedway. We'll also be posting our schedule very soon on our Facebook and Instagram pages. The PA Wings' tentative schedule was released yesterday.

You'll get there, it just takes time. We planned on racing for several years before we started.

After safety, you want a solid engine. We went 4 stroke because Jayden isn't here all the time. I can start the kart by myself. When you begin with a known good engine and are slow, it's narrowed down to the setup or driver. It depends on the goals of the racing too. We set our team up to be able to travel and race anywhere.

@@brookingmotorsports6873 if you don't mind me asking what engine setup do you guys run ? . I want something similar ..I've seen Jayden run at other tracks while racing and it seems very reliable and is competitive and fast , I plan on traveling around to every pa wing race next year .

@@cupwalker24.7 We have a 2016 KTM 250 SXF from Adams Performance in NC. We got it with the kart but knew he builds good stuff.

@@cupwalker24.7 We'll be there for the Memorial race. I have to get my kart from the museum today and we're still working on his karts. We've had a lot going on in life but we'll talk when I see you. Did you see the East Coast Outlaw Kart Report? It's something we're doing to share info and grow the class.
