One of the worst Shakespeare films ever, and if you compare this MacBeth with Polanski's version you will see the difference between a director who really understands both the story and the art of the medium with one who is a real artisan who has no real grip on either. This version was almost as bad as the Fassbender one, and Denzel was only slightly better than he was in the role.

The cinema was created for films like this, you have to see the film in the cinema and not at home as a stream. The backdrops are fantastic, such beautiful images deserve to be seen in the cinema.

I'll probably like knowin gthis more than I liked the film. The movie itself was SURFACE CRAP! Her acting seemed forced as she 'so-called' transitioned from AI robot child sex FrankenHooker to a wise book reading, creator of a daddy-husband slave goat & dominating wife to a Mad Weasel Scientist! It's a dumb-down film that's easy for the masses to fawn over! FIRST OFF, THEY KILL THE BABY! but whatever this fairytale was about, the message was ruined by the woman-child abuse and the boredom of everything else thereafter! Her Dad should have given her some money and taught her self-respect before she left? And the "GOD" pun was weak! All of it to only end up with her going back home! Dorothy and Toto had more fun, joy, excitement and adventure than Bella. Glad she didn't need money anymore! Isn't that why she was hookin? Only to find out that men are perverted jerks. WELL I'LL BE! She already had learnt that! People got lost in the bling and hype but Poor Thing isn't really that deep, intricate, complex or dramatic of an experience to be worth 2:20 mins. It wasn't even a good Dark Comedy let alone a Fantasy Horror film!! Give me The Shape of Water, Amelie or even The Wizard of OZ anyday for something of true substance.

I saw the film yesterday. It was a palette cleanser. A throwback to the days when superhero films each had their own genre spins. This one was a prequel crossed with Final Destination. I don't get the hate.
