Good day sir, love the series, i agree, i add a handfull of bonemeal everytime i plant a new seedling
@@DigItProtea thank you for sharing the info... I'll make sure I always have those ingredients when planting
Thank you so so much
❤
❤❤❤
Looking forward to the growth❤
Thank you sir, i add a handfull of bonemeal and another hand of bio ocean pellets per seedling

Thanks for the video my brother. You bought that drip pipe with hole or you made hole?
@@lesibemanaka5673 I bought it with the holes
How do you deal with the fruit flies ?
@@velvetthunder3856 i bought flies stickers put them around the plant. But leafminers was bothering me a lot so I applied cypermethrin it reduced them
Very Nice!! Please how often do you water when the plant starts producing fruit???
@@sonwabiso_joy I water all my veggies everyday for 30 minutes sometimes an hour because of the heat
Wow🎉❤
Great video. I am considering container planting. Not sure what's wrong with my soil. Wishing you the best with your 2025 garden.
@@bloomwithKels thank you so much for your kind words. All the best with the container gardening.
Hi, great video, maybe try and get an environment ready for the predators of your current infestations? Flowers might help
@@DigItProtea I had roses but they didn't help much
I can't wait for them to grow❤🎉
Yummy ❤
Wow congratulations bra on the harvest
Nice vidio
Mmm sorry
@@NokuthulaSibiya-t5v thank you so much. Really appreciate

Wow ❤
I love that you don't give up and are positive ❤something good is bound to happen ❤
@@nomondemorapama4642 thank you very much lovie
That thing takes over indeed, at least you have a bigger space for it. I prune mine because my garden is so small, I'm scared something scary might hide under the leaves 😂😂 it looks like my garden gets visited by animals at night & they always make sure to leave evidence like poop or just weird smells. It's a scary experience that gives me anxiety😭
@@sonwabiso_joy eeeh... that's scary 😨. Thank you. Yes they took over and I got clueless on what do to next.
Beautiful butternut!! Do you let bees pollinate for you or you hand pollinate??? The bees that visit my garden are useless, they only love nasturtium flowers & ignore my squashes. I always have to hand pollinate.
@@sonwabiso_joy 🤣🤣🤣 thank you so much... I tried the hand thing maybe I was too hard it didn't work. The bees helps me... try planting squash very close to the nasturtuim
@@simondesveggies But my squash is in & amongst 3 nasturtiums & 2 marigold , that's how useless these bees are. I've hand pollinated 3 squashes, there's 2 still coming up I'll see if the bees will pollinate them. I tend to worry if they'll be pollinated because the flowers open up for a few hours then die off.
Removed the leaves and it will become beautiful
My none expert advice, check your soil pH and possible lime application. If pH is low or high.
@@LesibanaMokonyama I must check it neh
It is my first time on your channel and I have just subscribed. Thank you so much for sharing. Very nice garden. Keep up the good work. All the best on this journey.😊❤
@@myhomeandgardenchanneldwel7777 thank you so much. Hope you enjoy the content 😊 ☺️ 🙂
Eish, sorry man.
Kuzolunga ❤
Stop watering at first signs of dying off. You can leave in the ground if no rain, but not indefinitely as the potatoes will start to deteriorate or sprout. The millipedes only eat rotting material.
@@UniversalSovereignCitizen wow. Thank you
Another great video, thank you
Just plant shade loving plant under the maroela tree
@@DigItProtea definitely I'll be doing so
That is bad luck, keep on planting
Oh man, askies!! You managed to get some beauties though. I have a few potato volunteers in the garden, I'm worried because I see those things in the garden quite often because it's always raining but I unalive them ☹
@@sonwabiso_joy eish... you unalive them🤣🤣

The problem in my garden is grub worms. Have you ever dealt with them before?
@@bloomwithKels not yet. But they will make a turn oneday.
Please what's a cash crop?🤔
@@sonwabiso_joy oh, I meant Cash crop..... crops that I will sell to make money from.

@@PlantinginSA I'll do an update video soon... where I'll show you how things are looking now. Thank you so much.
@simondesveggies2290 please 🙏
@@PlantinginSA hey good day I just made an update video check it out th-cam.com/video/IynUG1qM1sM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9soVXgn35rJXRGIv
They say you must plant it in a square so the pollen can reach all, anyway now you can make your own pap
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Each "hair" will polinate a single grain inside. So i guess the gaps are because of improper pollination. You might have harvested it a little too early. My old grandmom always had to wait until 3 cycles of silk. It will come out and dry off 3 times then we harvest.
Wow... thank you for that.
Try perhaps a shade net on one of the spinach bed and see if there will be a difference
Nice one🎉🎉
Congratulations on your harwest sir. I would like to know. When is the perfect time to grow corn? What are some of the most important lessons you've learned and are there any common mistakes you have made along the way?
@@Louwxanthe thank you. Anytime except winter for me works well. Nutrition and pest management were and are still the greatest challenges. And yes I made a silly mistake on this harvest. I didn't give it enough nutrients...
Congratulations on the harvest
Eish, i had a similar experience😅
@@DigItProtea I wonder what causes that
