The US Army pigs thought they could make millions of dollars with him doing concerts. But, Presley screwed them and became an ordinary soldier Presley lost a ton of money as they drafted him at the peak of his career.
The Germans had horses drawn wooden wagons.......no oil for fuel.
That MPH
Since these are US Army trucks it would be nice if you also stated their top speeds in miles per hour. Good video!
The country with the best industry wins the war. A lesson for modern nations.
A Surplus US6 (with Livery) is featured in Theives’ Highway (1949). Commentary for the film reports the truck could run on 68 Octane.
We had that 4 ton monster on our farm in the 80s. Hauling corn.
Nice video. Going to watch your other videos. Best wishes from the USA
U.S. put the Soviet Army on wheels. Germans were still Using horses. The outcome was inevitable.
What language is that you are speaking?
Our reserve unit had 5 trucks with front bumper mounted pumps. For flood recovery. They were HOLD OVERS OUR COMANDER WANT TO KEEP THEM JUST FOR THE FACT THAT THEY COULD SUCK OUT BUILDINGS IN Record TIME😊😊😊
The standard did not apply to all allied vehicles. According to the video there was no 5 ton. Yet Studebaker (in USA) and Chevrolet (in Canada) built large numbers. The USA built the greatest number of trucks. With Canada being number 2 in production, with a basic type that became standard for military trucks. The Canadian Military Pattern (CMP) using big single tyres rather than smallish duals.
The RXC Hercules could be temperamental and was actually short of horsepower.
The "Dragon Wagon" was actually the "Dragging Wagon" because it could drag anything hooked to it. Term is still in use today for tank transporter vehicles..
How would you know. With that heavy accent
A GMC was a Chevrolet with lock-washers.
Boy, sending thousands of trucks to our buddies the Russians sure worked out great
Did you ever get around to a video of the smaller vehicles?

It isnt really fair to gloss over a violent coup, then call the eastern provinces rebels for not backing a violent coup that shelled them for 8 years. also, Putin did not order troops into Crimea, Crimea STOPPED the violent maidan coup in their area, and called RUSSIA for backup. Russia moved in to help the locals fend off the western backed violent over taking of their government and nation. th-cam.com/video/JrMiSQAGOS4/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/IwZApPCFXIc/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/8-RyOaFwcEw/w-d-xo.html

I’m stationed in Germany with us army now so I was curious about Elvis experience. His duty station was ray barracks, which permanently shut down in 2007. He lived off post with family he rented with his own money. Today, American soldiers station overseas get Overseas Housing Allowance which covers rent but reserved only for married soldiers or soldiers of high rank. The BMW coupe Elvis owned is renovated and in display at the bmw museum in Munich.
Are you watching Domonic of Dorchester , who used to own a ex Finnish army whites lorry ??
Why can't they. Get a commentator who can talk
Thank you for the excellent overview of U.S. WWII trucks. My late father was U.S. Army for 24 years, so I spent much of my childhood climbing and playing on trucks and tanks. Then in 1968 I enlisted in the Air Force.....
Me as well, Dad USA, PA National Guard, 24 years, WW2, me USAF '63-'67, Vietnam Veteran.
@bpp325 Pretty cool being a military brat, then active duty ourselves. I spent 5 years overseas as a dependent in France and Taiwan, then 1 year (Aug 70-71) in Thailand when I was AF. Don't know about you, but I loved it all. And it made me realize people are the same everywhere; the same aspirations, the same fears. I wouldn't trade those experiences for all the tea in China (to coin a phrase). EDIT: What part of PA? I lived there 4 times.
🔥🔥🔥
Iora Epstein "ojo de Halcón" el mejor piloto de caza Israelí.

I Liked the WWII Movie "Red Ball Express" with Jeff Chandler.
Thank you; this was great. Very interesting, and I learned a lot.
Obrigado, Senhor.
Excellent; thank you.
This was superb; thanks very much. God bless General Epstein.
The Russians should thank the USA for motorizing 2/3's of it's infantry units!! Had the USA not given those Truck to the USSR then the Western Allies would have capture Berlin.
Eh, forgot about this channel?
A “numerical” code is not “G”. That’s an alphabetical code.
Thank you. Please also cover the CMP.
If Elvis stayed in the army he could of had a real good carear in the army. But he returned to his real great music carear.
which it was his biggest mistake , he should have stayed in the army : )
Just a little correction , Type VII-B performances were 17 KNOTS on surface (1 knot = 1,852 km/h) and 8 knots submerged. With 17 km/h a submarine would have been as slow as a merchant ship and could now have raided against them. Nice video. Thanks.
He was born on Jan 8, 1935. He was drafted on Dec 20, 1957.
what about Nikolai Sutyagin. with 22 kills ?
No están documentadas, solo existe la versión rusa de esos derribos.
He is a living legend! OP pilot:)
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Heard any country is same truck, colour = country instead? Or a type of secret unique Art somewhere?
The real Top Gun.
