Have saved this video to come back to when I finally get round to attempting this with all the interesting pieces of styrofoam I've been hoarding over the years!
Would a hairblower also work if you dont have acces to a heat gun?
Cool stuff. I use to do war hammer
I like the tip about using PVA and baking soda, will def be trying that.
Excellent, will be giving this a go!
Great video! Thanks a lot! 🙂
Thankyou. This video helped me heapz. As I am a new build dio maker. Keep going really enjoyable. Cheerz Denise W.A
I always struggled when it came to painting skin on miniatures (usually around the faces specifically).
I'm finally getting around to making some terrain and i have to say I'm pretty stoked about it after watching this video! about to check out the rest of the channel!
Looks great
I came across this technique messing around with some of my styrofoam, it’s actually crazy how much just a little bit of heat can transform a whole piece
Breathtakingly gorgeous 🥰❤️🥰
Like the contrast between the orange and the green, made the pieces pop.
How has this channel only gotten to 500 subs. This content is great keep going also a sugestio spend more time on the thumbnail you dont need to improve anithing else
make some more Vampire themed stuff
Paint every day. simple but powerful, brother.
Those came out really nice. I'll have to keep an eye out for those cocktail sticks.
Something to do with the pile of packaging I've been hoarding lol
These look great! I use metal brads/paper fasteners as round pillar toppers. The pointy part pokes through the foam and makes it super easy to adhere.
Great idea! The BBs were actually difficult to attach with hot glue.
Dope
These look great! I hide my mistakes with grass, moss or loose gravel lol
Not "NECESSARY" but helpful. Same look can be pulled off a few ways. Good vid and channel!
Yeah, I think tile grout is another way to do this, and it’s possibly even cheaper!
Those look awesome! Great idea 💡
Chalk pastels as pigments? Genius!
This is almost as good as the famous "Terraria Bosses irl part 2" by youtuber "ultimate narcrab"
Almost…
Wow! Those really look great!
No worries. They look great, and look good together. Good job
Great tips
I think these look great! Keep it up.
I may have missed it in the video, but are these containers 2" x 2" x 6"?
They are roughly 2” x 2.5” x 5”
I made 10 of this
keep doing what your doing , i think you have great potential !!
Thanks so much for the encouragement! I have some new videos in the works, but I am extremely busy with school and sports right now, so the going is very slow 😔.
Thank you for sharing. Very awesome!
For the stencils on corrugated card board : cut them out of corrugated card board, have the bumps line up in the grooves, and voilà! less gaps for leaking. Also what Jeremy ended up learning after the fact, from the comments I believe. Cheers!
Ah, thanks for the advice! I should’ve checked the comments of that video! 😂🤦♂️
Bits of zip ties might be good for handles on the doors! Less messing around trimming off all the bits of granny grating.
Yeah that’s a good idea!! The granny grating was a pain and it doesn’t look as good as I hoped.
Thanks for the guide! It's very good. Wish I had seen it earlier on, haha. I'll use the Rustoleum for the primer. How far back do you hold the can to spray it?
Typically about 12 in. If you’re priming foam you may want to go farther.
@@PracticalTerrain Perfect, thanks! I'm going to the local hobby shop tonight to get one of the washes, then I'm going to start painting.
That is really cool! While watching this, I was also thinking that could also be used as some sort of sci-fi metal refinery as well.
yo wanna play dnd sometime?
Love the highlight reel at the start :-)
Also, I discovered that mineral spirits that you can buy at the hardware store are the same thing as the expensive oil paint thinner stuff from the art supply store but is much cheaper.
Thanks so much! I actually found a bottle around the house AFTER I bought the expensive art brand 😂.
@@PracticalTerrain That's pretty much what happened to me too. ;)
I like that they’re baseless. Nice job.
Yes, I have a personal dislike of bases on terrain. It makes them a lot less modular.
Nice work! I will have to give this a go, I can always use rubble piles. Cheers!
Thanks!
Good idea. The end product does not look like styrofoam!
buen trabajo saludos
Muchas Gracias
This is a great way to make something from that cardboard packaging. It looks really good too.
those turned out amazing!
Epic Video, This was an amazing build
👍
Excellent video. Just found the channel and really appreciate the high quality of your work.
Thanks! That means a lot to me!
Barnacles, are living creatures. You should be ashamed of yourself. Do you see other CRAFT channels do it. No, because it makes you a lazy and a shit person. What's next killing the neighbors dog, to make a dragon skeleton.
