A bike ride to Spofforth Castle for a history lesson! 📚
We decided to ride 3 miles from Wetherby to Spofforth in Yorkshire to find a relatively 'unknown outside of Yorkshire' castle and explore its ruins.
This castle has a lot of historical importance relating to the Middle Ages and we loved discovering things we didn't know about our history.
Tucked away between modern houses, it's a wonderful ride out, and a very chill and open explore.
It's an unmanned English Heritage site and it's great!
Enjoy with us our visit to Spofforth Castle.
PS we didn't see any ghosts ;-)
