Hi, I'm Donna and this is my TH-cam channel. I'm a former Lecturer of Physics and Lecturer of Mathematics. I have taught maths, electronics, solid state physics and various practicals at colleges and universities in the Netherlands and UK. I completed my PhD in experimental physics in 2008 and often tour internationally as a public speaker. Bringing science to the general public is a passion of mine.
I'm currently responsible for Continuing Professional Development for teaching staff at Maastricht University and as well as coordinating new training programmes on teaching design and delivery. I deliver a variety of workshops on topics such as assessment and intercultural communication in educational settings.
My hobbies range from playing guitar, cycling and more recently trampolining, to calisthenics (body-weight) training.
