Torn about this version. It sounds like he no longer really means it (that we're gonna live forever). To me it's one of a handful of songs from which it's not possible to extract Liam's voice.

this whole album film Alex turner just perfect in the way it makes me feel audibly and visually. the smell of the cool night air reminds me the wind is always carrying what they said what they played, its somewhere on the wind.

Ive always loved Arctic monkeys and always will. What annoys me though, is their refusal to do a solid festival set of bangers. They have the discography to play a set with 25 songs, that could blow away any of their contemporaries. To play a festival set in england and not play when the sun goes down, a certain romance, Do me a favour, dancing shoes or ritz to the rubble is a missed opportunity in my mind. Then to mess with the timing of the ones you play, is frustrating. I was there at thw Glastonbury set and i enjoyed it but it was the same show they played in Manchester. The atar treatment remix was a nice surprise though.

I really respect the fact that they are doing whatever they want on stage even if that angries some people. It's great that they change the tempo or some things from the classics, if it makes them enjoy more them by all means, bring it.
