I was hoping to fin a video of all the Heartknot converstations...but seeing this video, I do wonder when she arrives... I just got the Hair Salon open, built the tram, and repaired that farm equipment. I saw Nia's image and felt, I want to see if can win her over. Does suck, cause I still love Mi-an :D

I wish we had adorable scenes like that with Mi-an

Nia is very cute, but it is so easy to let it go under the friendship radar, she is a diamond buried in the sand!

They have two characters that kind of fit that childhood friend trope with Nia and Mi-an. Mi-an is there from the beginning in the same situation as you, so it's easy to relate with her and grow attached. Then a couple days after starting the game you hear about this Nia? who's Nia? Your childhood friend? Well i haven't actually seen her or talked to her so i have no reason to grow attached to them. It's very artificial, you don't really know Nia for a long time, but you're told that you do. Basically catching feelings for her requires playing along, pretending. The character herself actually has a lot to compete with because we're introduced to so many more characters that we are actively going through stuff with. Saving yourself for a distant relationship that you are only TOLD you have is likely not something most people do in their first play through.
