One of the great Bledisloe Cups, at Ballymore in Brisbane - 1992. Featuring a sensationally confrontational haka, controversial dirty play and sublime rugby. Atmosphere was electric and I was an electrified 9 year old spectator...

Wallabies v All Blacks, 1992 at Ballymore, Brisbane. 2nd Test of the 1992 Bledisloe Cup and my all time favourite rugby union test match. The Wallabies clinched the Bledisloe for the first time since 1986. I was 9 years old and a lucky spectator.
The fair play King Richard Lowe
Distance won’t be a problem for him(grant fox) just falls short 😂
I was their,I'll never forget the gutlessness of Richard Loe what he did to Paul Corrozza after his first try with that elbow straight down on his nose and he got away with it but Squbba had the last laugh and scored a second and matching winning try and been able to score in the first test again South Africa at Cape town in 23 years but first test since 1971,but Paul Corrozza definitely can claim the Moral Victory everytime against the Grub behaviour from Richard Loe.
One of the best test series of all time, the ABs vs the Wallabies in 1992. Some great tries scored by both teams.
Carroza was in touch. No replays
The first time that Australia won the Bledisloe Cup in Australia since 1980
Paul Corroza you little beauty a Wests Bulldogs boy!!!.
The glory days of Australian rugby. So good!
An awful long time ago though. ARU need another woke woman in charge 😂😂😂😂
People focus on Loe’s dogshot. I hope the touch judge reads this comment. It happened right in front of you. You took your eyes off the play. You were derelict in your duty. You should be embarrassed with your performance and I hope that you were called to account for it and that you never officiated at this level again. The referee may not have had a perfect view but you did. Shame on you for your lack of due diligence. Shame on you.
Sam Scott Young would get a yellow card today for that punch .
Disabled black lesbian.... Seems a joke ahead of its time
Brings back the memories of two great teams. Thanks for the upload
Richard Loe is a coward... dirty play idiot...
Kirwan's try reminds me a bit of the Baa-Baas try from 1973
Fucking timid Australian commentators with the "less said about that the better". Richard Loe is a common thug.
How long did nz hold it for after that 13 seasons wow
Dumb test need to see the bounce & wallaby no#8 fight in midfield
Richard Loe, what a dirty and disgusting player….
What a tough guy Richard loe, hitting a defenseless guy half his size on the ground. This guy was a disgrace . I wonder how Greg cooper's eye sight is these days?
He is a disgrace even off the field then
Go Sir Les! NO WORRIES 🤣
Are you with me?
THOSE CANTABS LOL RICHARD LOE
Nearly 30 years later, I'm still cheering, still want to hug Paul Carozza and punch Richard Loe.
Relentless and epic encounter!
The Wallabies have never beaten The British And Irish Lions at Brisbane
Queensland beat them in Brisbane in 1971.
2:39 Sam Scott-Young winking at someone during the haka!
great era the 90s. bledisloe cup games were high quality.
Who is the no 1 Jersey for the wallabies please...
that was great
Inga the Winga. The prelude for large size wingers and the death of skinny ones.
Not really! Look at the George Bridge, Sevu Reece and the bok wingers!
Iam glad I was there that day to witness Australia win the Bledisloe cup at Ballymore.
Such a great day and such golden time in Australian Rugby I just wish those days would comeback.
Fitzy is so funny. He shoves the guy like he’s trying to get a reaction. Then the other guy throws a punch, and Fitzy is like, “See ref?”, and gets the penalty. Also, it’s like kids fighting at the playground.
I wonder how dear old Richard Loe is going to explain this one to his grandchildren in years to come? Good grief! It puts to bed any shame levelled at the sons of Ned Kelly.
the laurie mains era was mean
Yes. It was excellent for teams playing the AB's. To be fair to him I think he was a good coach but a really shit selector.
Just gunna say ODwyer faaaaaarrrccken wanker
Loe was a classic rugby thug. I remember waikato v auckland. Ball comes out a scrum to Foxy who passes it out then its passed again and in the background Loe comes off the side of the scrum and does a headhigh stiff arm into Foxys head. So far off the ball no official saw it. They guy wouldn't get 2 games in a row these days
these biast ozzy commentators..prikz.lol
I was their on that day just see Australia to win the Bledisloe Cup was amazing considering what Paul Corrozza went though.
What a cowardly attack by Richard Loe on the defenceless Carozza the smallest guy on the field lying on his back !
What a song to sing after winning a game of rugby.
dam fitzy was a bit too rough on occasions
Not a single tattoo on any of them.
It wasn't about image back then as it is today
David Fordham was the best Australian commentator. Gordon Bray screams too much. Kearns is a complete clown.
Give me Gordon Bray anyday he is not known as the voice of Rugby for no reason.
Andrew Russ, NZ’s Grant Nisbett is good too.
The most gutless thing I've ever seen on a rugby field. Congratulations Richard Loe.
Play on, he forced the ball on his forearm 😉
The ABs had Richard Lowe. The Wallabies had Justin Harrison. The Springboks had Bakkies Botha. Every side had a thug for hire.
lol the Miller's Crossing theme music??
Sam Scott-Young did the work of 3 back rowers
It was an excellent series. Some fantastic rugby played.
Rebuilding after 1991 Mains had his work cut out for him. Took him until 1995 to get the side right. I reckon he should have kicked on until 1999. At least the change the coach mentality after every world cup seems to have been ditched thankfully.
Was this the one where Loe smashed Carozza in the nose late ??
lol I love the commentry " This promises to be one of the greatist matches of all time " Lol really ?? All time ? Until the next Bledisloe
