A question please, I am just in thought of Servicing and fixing my own machines due to overheads becoming overwhelming, my Question is, where do I find out the right part and where to get it, and can I substitute parts ? You're going to want some grease on the blade bearing and contact points with that seal.

Hey, have a pending job to replace this seal but every piece of literature says to split the evap from the gearbox for this. Is it really safe to do it out the top like this?? It would save me a lot of time.

Where is the bin sensor located on this machine?

Do you have to drain the fryer to replace the t-stat probe?

I could see this for installers. But for serivce technicians #1 clam on multimeter #2 low loss smart probes #3 power driver #4 leak detector #5 good set of pliers

Forgot to mention that there are two nuts securing the capillary inside the tank, and you supposed to screw the large one first with add on of Teflon tape or pipe tread sealant , then you screw the small nut right in after you lift the compression farell up to create thigh seal . Other wise quite accurate .

Isn’t there oil in gear box? How do you check or add oil?

Hey ya'll.. always test with wires disconnected to avoid backfeed thru the valve pilot or main coils. I know Vulcan uses the NO (normally open) to short out voltage from the thermopile if limit trips.

Why would you even post this video, re-do it but this time remove the two wires from the control thermostat, you will then receive the results you were hoping for. In this video, the continuity results you were getting were coming from the gas valve coil, not the control thermostat.

That was pointless. You effectively measured the valve coil and saftey switch. I get it,, y'all have no intention to teach anyone how to not call you for repairs

Now work on one that been used for 3 years and let's see how smooth it is to pull that drain pan 😂

Nice list! I would just maybe add tape, I'm a FST too and I cannot count the amount of times tape was useful, could be any kind too! (electrical, masking, scotch, heavy duty)
