If you are upgrading from entrynav (no navigation nbt unit) to HU_NBT or newer. First you need to cut the little fins or things blocking connector from inserting, than put the connector wrong way in. if you look at the connector we can see the clip cut that off and using little force insert it wrong way around. BMW has for some reason decided to reverse the pinlayout in NBT and newer units.

Very good, although mine is still not working. I want from entrant to NBT evo., ie., white usb to cream colour port, labelled USB. I have two usb ports the new NBT evo headunit.
