    Yeah, I still don't see gas cars being saved with this. It will still be useful for non car applications though. Although I'd still prefer something like ammonia fuel cells in maritime shipping, stop bilge dumping in the oceans.

    Lol citing Toyota for anything involving EVs is just misleading since it's well known they don't care for EVs. Meanwhile, EVs just recently hit 50% market share in China with (30% are pure BEV and 20% hybrid). Europe is also going all electric, with both of the counties going full electric, and EVs taking off in southeast Asia, more than half the automarket will be electric. E-fuels will be necessary for flight, that is certain.

  • @seaplaneguy1
    @seaplaneguy1 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    No, by 2040 there will be no EVs. EVs will cost 20 to 30 times MORE than NET and fuel making from home solar.

  • @seaplaneguy1
    @seaplaneguy1 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Excellent points at time 1:02:25 to 1:05:10 about narratives. He understands what he is up against. I see this all the time with my NET engine tech.

  • @seaplaneguy1
    @seaplaneguy1 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Jet fuel has a LOT of risks inherent in flying. Diesel fuel in semi truck has low risks. Diesel fuel for fleet trucks is where they should start.

  • @seaplaneguy1
    @seaplaneguy1 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Look, EVs are obsolete with NET and E-fuels. NET gives 3000 mile range (20 gallons) with CO2 and H2O capture HWY, and 9000 miles HWY (12,000 combined) on 60 gallons with NO CO2 capture. Drive 1 years in EU with NET, or charge that stupid EV everyday. LOL. No contest. The fact that NET captures CO2 and water alone will end the concept of EVs. NET offers an incinerating toilet option in a car or van. Water also. Nobody will want a stupid EV with NET available. NET can be done for less than $10 mil in VC. Drop NET into EXISTING ICE car lines. Take old ICE car from 30 MPG HWY to 120 MPG HWY and 190 City. No point to EVs...NONE! NO hybrid either.

  • @seaplaneguy1
    @seaplaneguy1 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Look, Old ICE at 15% will NOT compete well, but NET at 60% to 75% (4-5 times less fuel) can compete all while using existing oil prices of $3/gal (no road tax). With fuel making at $1/gal, that gives a 3x factor. That means NET would be 12 to 15 times less costs than old ICE. Put NET into semi trucks and run fleets of trucks...Billions of $ easy. NET works in airplanes. Flying cargo...already in concept stages. 10 times less fuel use than a Boeing 737-700 cargo plane. Semi trucks at 15 to 18 MPG.

  • @seaplaneguy1
    @seaplaneguy1 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Base load + fuel making is the future. Nuclear can be put at peak of day on grid, and fuel making is AT THE PLANT OFF GRID as the balance. Nuclear = grid load + fuel making. This is the future.

  • @seaplaneguy1
    @seaplaneguy1 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    What he misses is the OFF vs ON grid costs. Key point... If grid line use charges are 2-3 cents/kwh and fuel OFF grid is 2 cents/kwh with a 50% process (1 cent/kwh electricity makes 2 cents/kwh fuel), then making fuel is 2 and grid is 2-3 + grid generation costs. A 100% RE grid is now well over 30 cents/kwh in EU and will be 60 cents/kwh at 100% at house rates and 90-120 for super charging. Making fuel will be 20-30 times less costs than charging an EV on grid. read 100 times... With NET at 1.33x better MPGe than EV, that makes 26.6 to 40 times lower costs! No EV can compete with fuel making at 40x cost ratios for energy input. Game over for EVs. EVs are silly stupid compared to NET + fuel making. LOL. A NET car can be: 300,000 mile warranty, 900,000 mile life with two $3000 overhauls. Run car in USA for 20 years, overhaul, sell it into Africa as zero time car. 30,000 $ retail price, $15,000 manufacture costs 3000 mile range on 20 gallons gasoline (2100 miles E100) with CO2 capture, and 9000 mile range without CO2+H20 capture 300 HP continuous power, 900 HP short duration (beats Plaid with a mini van) 30 times lower energy input costs 3 redundant motors Near zero rare earths needed, no computers needed to run 0 cost to cabin heating/cooling, with no range loss in year (thick or thin air resistance Winter vs Summer) No EV can come close. NET works in cars, semi trucks, airplanes, boats, Heavy equipment, grid, buildings, heat pumps, etc. For more see me on X @seaplaneguy

  • @seaplaneguy1
    @seaplaneguy1 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Notice that he claims with 1 cent/kwh electricity, fuel will be $1 to $1.5 /gallon. I concur. The goal is $1/gallon wholesale with Ethanol at 70 cents/gallon (3 cents/kwh).

    The cost of Battery powered cars is out of reach for the majority of people. Running ICE m/c's to end of life with e-Fuel will be the norm! As the AtmosCO2 is still increasing as Net Zero efforts do not address natures emissions! It would seem logical as the 1st Global Priority to capture CO2 as Solid bringing the Level Back to 1980's a historic known level of 20gton. That would move away from the Permafrost Tipping point! Gov's & IPCC etc only react to issues when the issue crashes! It would take 6 Metaforge's making 36yrs output of Solid by 2032. Just got to get humanity to waken up & act!

    I am a member of a rural fire service and talk about this a lot and inevitably the question becomes "if you are successful is preventing wildfires how does that impact the ecosystem, particularly does it just increase the fuel load making the next fire worse?". We have a problem right now that the fire wardens are too conservative not issuing enough burn permits when the conditions are right for mitigation burning leading to much worse wildfires

    Much as I admire replit - its not a profitable business at all. Amjad puts up so much of the bravado while unable to figure where his real monetisable audience is. Github copilot at the moment will have replit's cake and will gobble it too even before repllit realises it. So much of this is the result of them concentrating on school students show casing parlour tricks while losing money hand over fist. Wake the fuck up.
