Wow
I thought that the hub oil needed to rest until it is level when you check the amount. Doesn't spinning it and adding more just overfill it? I'm trying to get my license now so I'm learning about this, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Yes you are correct, it just doesn’t take to long before the oil sits leveled after spinning, you want to lift it and spin so the oil circulates through out all the gaps of the bearing. Thank you for watching and I hope everything goes well on getting your license, if it helps I’ll recommend you to go watch Junior Honduras channel, go to his old vids he has many informative videos that can help you in many ways. God bless you
How much?
Excellent, thank for helping driver and owner operators 💯🙌
🦋 Dang!! 😬
Thank for the explanation. Most people just point at it and never discuss the lines
Probably your def lines clogged. Inlet nox sensor also needs to be replaced.
It was the DEF pump that went bad, thank you for watching!
@Truckers.Safe-Haven I have the exact codes on my truck right now. How much was the pump and what did they charge to fix it?
Fortunately my truck repairs were covered under warranty, I don’t know how much would’ve cost me
@@Truckers.Safe-Haven you are welcome bro
@ if it is def pump it costs approximately $2k. If it is only def lines(blue lines) it costs $500
great video bro, you learned me how change it. I have the same problem
hey could you do a load board with origin in the Bronx, please.
Power only!
I would but no longer with JBH.
Thank you
Is that the same sensor for RAC System Failure by chance? I have a 2016 freightliner, and Freightler said a wheel sensor was "pushed out" and needed to be re-adjusted. I also have the ABS light on along with a red triangle with an exclamation point inside.
Yes, this would be the same sensor as is used to detect speed, the sensor is use for the entire stability system of the truck
@@Truckers.Safe-Haven I ended up crawling under there with a flashlight and screwdriver and pushed on it. I wasn't sure if it even pushed in, but after I started to drive again, both dash lights went off. Freightliner charged me $600 to do that the first time, so I saved myself some money.
Awesome video, thank you for posting
Thank you for watching!
So how do you put the hub oil in the drive tires??? Please do a video
So for that you want to get some Gear Oil like Sea 75W-90 and there is a plum on the side of the differential. I don’t have a video about that but there is plenty of information on that matter in TH-cam and online.
Turn the floor power off like 4 times. may have to repeat a few times, but it should clear eventually... seems to be an on going issue. These sensors hate rain, seen to be possessed to tell you the truth... get it fixed & they light back up eventually
Great video buddy. Much appreciated, Gracias 👍
I was in a tornado 🌪️ once I was at the Pilot twenty some miles east of Memphis on I-40 It was scarey 😮
I was confused at first! Thank you for watching!
Should I do a park regen and scr when I finish replacing the DEF pump?
It shouldn’t be needed unless the truck ask for it🙌
All the videos I see are for the steer axle I need one for the drive axle I don’t know how to set the sensor in place so it’s not touching the hub you can’t see it after the hub is on (2018 cascadia)
Where did you got those metal box for the generator
That came with the truck, but I seen them at many truck custom shop
Wheel seal leaks oil on the ring sensor don't work. Some you can't get to the sensor with out pulling the wheel an drum.if not disk
Someone told me I can use 75.90 gear oil as Hub oil is that true
I myself don’t know, im just a driver who does maintenance to his truck, I know Hub oil works and I also know 75w-90 oil is for your differential. Thank you for watching!
My love
How often should you check the oil levels?
You should check every day for oil leaks around the hub seal and axle seals, but at least check oil levels every 1 to 2 weeks.
Pretrip eveytime.
This ain’t something you normally check but you look and smell for leaks, if no smell of musty oil and visible no leaks once every 6 months or during a PM request a check! They usually check if they want💵💰💵
🤦♂ Don't use single hose portable air conditioner, use dual hose, intake fresh air and exhaust hot air.
Same issue here on sensor C on a 2024 cascadia. This is so trash.
How did you fix sensor C
@ unfortunately never did. Still have the issue come up only when it rains or the truck gets wet. Shop looked at the truck and found no issues with sensor or harness on the rear end of the truck they said it might be in the rest of the harness within the truck cab or maybe interference from another module or device on the truck. TIP this is the only fix when the light comes on that i have found. It is to 1: shut truck off 2: open & close the driver door wait till dash goes completely dark (make sure you have headlights switch off or auto) 3: turn on the truck and immediately as it’s turning on don’t let it finish it’s check up cycle just take off fast and the light will stay off until you fully come to a complete stop again. Crazy but it works every-time for me. Hope it helps. ✌️

Thank you! Thanks to your video I fixed my problem. Turned out to be the wire for me
Glad it helped, thank you for watching!
Was out there for 35 years, what I see here makes for a long day and is very stressful. But everybody nowadays has a sense of entitlement and there is no communication between drivers anymore, then last but not least is the cellphones and all the other distractions while behind the wheel
You're part of the solution my friend 👍🏼
Siren looks like a Federal Signal 2T22 or 3T22 or a Sentry.
Thanks for posting this.. 👍👍
You bet, thank you for watching!
The truck was trying to hit dude. What a POS
Naw man, he saw him. He definitely saw him!😂😂
Why is that truck even in the left lane ?
Left lane is to bypass the slow lane. I think we are watching the same video? Semi truck took the left lane to overtake that semi truck that’s recording from their dashcam.
didn't the semi driver go over the outer line in an attempt to crash the pickup? I think that's a criminal offense
That's why trucks should never be on the left!
Re tread?? They have to have time to pass safely. Fool
@@RVthereyet25 Where did I talk about when they make a pass? They don't stay on the left when they make a pass... imagine saying stupid things like this and then also have the nerve to call others 'fools''...
@@14489 You literally see the truck make a pass... Who do you think is recording this, a helicopter?
@@buffcode I am not talking specifically for this incident. There have been countless times when trucks driving in the left carelessly change lanes, squiring vehicles beside them. It has happened to me at least 4 times and I didn't even try to overtake, I was just driving along... In the end, trucks shouldn't even overtake in traffic. There are ccountless accidents because of this.
Yeah unless it's a must pass stay out of the left lane, the city I'm near has truckers driving in the local left lanes just clogging up traffic all the time.
Today's world. What ever happened to courtesy. I'm only 60 but I can remember when people merged and waived thank you. Today's world is all about me.
Then get your big ass out of the way.
I've had that happen twice in 20 years of driving, such a blind spot on the right.
😅
Right side=blindside=suicide
Both in the wrong
No, semi signaled and everything. Pickup just has a death wish.
Looks like the semi turned then signaled@@heisenberg_308
@@heisenberg_308he used his turn signal during his turn. Doesn’t really count.
Cars don't know how to wait, before returning to the slow lane. Usually takes < 5 seconds Which is exactly when the p-up truck cut in between the two semi-trucks. So the p-up truck should have waited > 10 seconds before returning to the slow lane
@@missingremote4388If you’re counting seconds, how many seconds should the semi have signaled before changing lanes
Left lane is for passing Chevy dummy
My biggest pet peeve with impatient four wheelers who need to wait
