Good conversation, I have listened to and have loved both of you guys for decades. I’ve sung your music, played it on the radio, even emcee’d a REZ concert once in South Carolina. Attended Cornerstone 3 times. You’ll be relieved to know that this so-called “Christian nationalism” is not a thing. It’s a creation of the state-run media and the Democrat party. I’m a Christian conservative who grew up in the deep South and I can assure you that this focus on “Christian nationalism” which began about 15 minutes ago, is a creation of the MSNBC wing of the media intended to frighten and animate guys like you. It’s no secret that you guys both come from the left side of the spectrum and so I can see where you might be concerned about this. But you don’t need to worry. It’s a Morning Joe-Rachel Maddow-CNN-PBS-NPR bunch of nonsense. What else did the Dems have to run on - a great economy? An absence of conflict around the world? Nope. All they have is, “Let’s smear the other side and talk about killing babies.” That’s all.

Good reminder : Live the Life Jesus told us to lead, follow him. Yes, there will be trouble but Jesus overcomes the world. Not a lot of new info. Interesting history of the counter cultural aspects of American Christianity but Acts 2 is similar.

Noel - I am a 56 year old female who has been a HUGE fan of PPM ever since your 25th Anniversary concert. That was the first time I saw you in concert - in Lincoln, Nebraska. However, my dad had your first album and as a little kid, I had my parents play that album over and over and over, so I’ve actually loved you ever since I can remember. Listening to this video is so amazing. I love your relationship with Jesus. I know we probably are opposite as far as politically - maybe - but knowing you have Jesus assures me you are not one of those crazy leftists that’s out there today.

Sat under Chucks teaching for over 35 years , Twin Peaks bible school, Capo beach CC, went on Isreal trip, i have such a solid rock foundation of the Bible and Gods word because of his teaching. I miss Pastor Chuck seeing this was wonderful. Much ❤ Danee

Prophetic. Not only as a foreruner of the movie, The Jesus Movement, and the then-unforeseen campus revival that spread from the mid-south, we see a move of the Holy Spirit to once again present to a questioning and needy generation, and through that move to call many of us back to a reawakening of our first love. As with the Jesus people of the early 70's, now with the old guys like John, Noel, and me who in our own ways live through it, there is a need to get the word out. The kids need to know: there is Love, there is Truth, and they are Loved. A smile for a stranger, a hug for a friend, a loving gesture toward the isolated and unlovely and unlovable in our midst, it can start there. Thank you both, for this conversation and all that you bring to it. God bless you.

I’ve been doing ministry with young people for 30 years now. For the last decade and a half I’ve been a chaplain in Episcopal schools. I yearn to see hearts and minds set ablaze by Divine Love. I pray for the Love of Jesus to send a new move of the Holy Spirit in a way that is radically inclusive rather than divisive and exclusionary.

I wish I had the patience to listen to this to the end, however, the sound quality is very poor and many disruptions make it hard to follow. it is a struggle to grasp the meaning when half a dozen words are missing every few seconds, I will continue trying to get through it but I'm not hopeful

I enjoyed your video, thank you. We do need the affirming love reminders of God in our life. He asks us to believe even if we don't feel like it. Another thought you made me think about is related to a child having faith in his parent. We do feel so needy sometimes to have our heavenly Father look us in the eyes as it were and say "it's okay, you can trust me, I have a good plan that I'm working out for you". God desires to have us growing in the direction of trusting that he's more than able to handle everything that we face.

It seems like there is a hole in the heart in which only God can fill. When I found Jesus who is God I saw life from a different perspective. Now I’m to live like Him. Love others more than myself. It is very satisfying.

We still live in a time of relationship. I hope each of us will share with others.

68 through 72 my mom would pickup anyone riding from Mt Hermon to Santa Cruz. She would share Jesus with everyone. Then after 72 I seemed to have become dangerous. We all went to the concerts back then. One of my favorites was Larry Norman at the time. And of course we love your music John. I picked up the guitar because of those songs during the Jesus movement. I want to be the next marge Snyder. Great topic. Luckily I still at 65 share with high school kids.
