Regular cat kibble is not enough for cats, they need meat, raw or cooked. My cats get a meal of meat once a day, tuna, chicken, turkey, beef, and sometimes pork. I sometimes boil in water to make a broth, which they love.

I eat bread rarely. White bread or wheat. My girl, Money, she likes white bread. She gets two small pieces while I’m eating. She can count to two and knows no more bread tiny piece after the second tiny piece. She doesn’t like wheat bread. Both like sardines. I get the ones packed in water. I split a big one for both their bowls and I get the rest. My baked chicken skin off for my boy who likes chicken his sister not so much. As a kitten my boy liked a little scrambled eggs no salt no pepper. My girl she wasn’t interested. I don’t have eggs often.

Cats will survive on any human food, if habituated. My cat is thriving on all types of cooked meat, fish and also rice with milk. Most comments appear irrelevant.

we eat runny eggs in my country, i grew up drinking egg flips made with raw egg, countries like NZ and the UK do not wash eggs before they go in the box and most people dont keep them in the fridge, American producers are made to wash off all the protective layer of the egg because of the far greater Salmonella risk i eat runny egg and so does my cat, if i lived in America i would cook it fully - except it tastes disgusting like that so i just would not eat eggs as much

I think breeders are getting unnecessary bad reputation. Most cats in shelters come from a mix of parents that ppl let freely roam around outdoor. Castration has become also ridiculously expensive so villages and small towns are technically the most to blame for the large population of cats in need of a home
