    I love your content and it is really helping me. Thanks for making them. I just have a question, you mentioned that opposite-gender parents shape our ideal and real partner criteria and you put and example of a boy and his mother. Does it happen the same if, for example, it's the father the frail one? Or does this just happen with opposite-gender parents? Thanks for your time.

That's how horoscopes and spirit-callers work. OMG!!! A RELATIVE ACTUALLY DIED IN THE LAST 10 YEARS!!! THIS IS EXACTLY ABOUT ME!! Studied from Stoicism and the art of Happiness most recently but I've been working on it my whole life. I used to feel like true love was worth me suffering for. I need to work on me for a while first to be able to stay true to what I want and not feeling swept away but I feel like I'm who I need to be right now. This is a huge fallacy!!!! It is a half truth! Only counting for one group of pleasers / givers! I like to give for the giving! Seeing other people happy! Why? I don't know? I best guess is that I want to treat people how I want to be treated! What you describe is a trait of some people, but not at all all of them! The opposite is much worse! The assumptions! That that kindness is to manipulate or demand something in return, except for showing gratefulness in a simple thank you or smile! Because anti-social and selfish people perceive your kindness as manipulative, or makes themselves feel they have to reciprocate, but with more is a misguided feeling from their side! What this kind of stupidity only does is making good people feel bitter and frustrated and it ends up in very much most people only really doing nice things to manipulate! The self-fulfilling prophecy! That is how it is to date! I get hated for BEING kind! Being accused of DOING kind, but probably not am! The only thing I would be guilty of is want people to be happy and show me they are! Is that selfish? Not at all! If you want to see it that way, than, besides being a very narrow thinker, you should at least appreciate the win-win of that "selfishness"! Also because of this mindset you describe, people feel entitled to anti-social, selfish behavior and call that good! And that is the state most people are in! Only caring about yourself is the only right way and others accept it, because they are allowed to be selfish themselves then! Your way of reasoning hurts all the good people!!! You punishing good behavior with that reasoning and it is playing out its evil work every day! I am disgusted by it and bad people turn it up-side down and are precise the people you say the good people apparently seem to be in your description! A F-ing awful way of looking into the world! Everybody who thinks like this has an lousy moral compass and should be re-educated immediately! Worst psychological inside ever this video! (I had a psych who had accused me of exactly the same way of evil thinking when I said I like to being kind to people! She diagnosed me as a cluster B personality type and thought everything I said in that session was manipulation! Disgusting way of thinking! She was evil herself and thus she just could not imagine how true good people think and behave! And you are just one of those! Evil and unable to see and distinguish true good from faked good! Again, Disgusting and only contributing and advocating for being even less of a good person, this video!

    I give out of joy, and because I have a higher capacity to do so but not by making myself miserable. Since I give and keep my heart, intentions super clear from day 1- I know it’s truly Gods work if I wasn’t valued or things break apart. I just walk away. That’s why I don’t feel heaviness from past relationships only a sense of peace and liberation from them. God protects my heart & strengthens it

    • @EmotionalOdysey
      @EmotionalOdysey 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Wow, that’s some powerful perspective right there. 🙏 You’ve got that balance locked down-giving without losing yourself or feeling drained. Knowing you gave from a place of joy and clarity means you’ve done your part, and if things don’t work out, it’s like you said-it’s in God’s hands. Walking away with peace and strength? That’s real freedom. 💯

      Ain't that the truth! 😅 Life really loves to throw curveballs, and there’s no cheat code for skipping the tough parts. It’s like leveling up in a game, but the grind is all about your inner growth. The real flex? Owning your mistakes, learning from them, and coming out stronger on the other side. 💪 Character development is the only way through the mess and the magic of it all. This may be accurate for normal breakups but my last relationship was plagued by her redflag behaviors, and when I finally ended the relationship I felt relieved, not sad that it's over or grieved the "good times" as they were really scarce anyway. The biggest issue I faced after breaking up was that I sincerely tried to find my own mistakes and couldn't come up with any big ones. I have found some areas for improvement yet could not find a red flag I did have. This made me question why did I even love her in the first place? Am I that bad at reading people? Is this the type of women I attract? Did I really deserve such a bad relationship, is this my worth? But after almost 2 months and a hell of a lot reflection I'm starting to make peace with myself and accepting that I too made a big mistake: Starting that relationship in the first place, even before we dated she did show small signs of instability and selfish behavior and I just ignored them thinking they were not out of the "normal" range. Do you have any videos on stuff like this?

  • @L6FT
    @L6FT หลายเดือนก่อน

    Well summoned. Growing through pain this is what I've found myself. Better to grow through pain, to see clearly and come to terms with reality rather than numb out the pain. Meditation can be used as a method to still the mind from the hustle and bustle of mental and emotional activity. When fine tuned correctly we learn to notice the mental impulses that cause emotion. It's not enough to block mental activity and emotions, but important to become aware of what is causing them. Faulty programming and assumptions will cause emotions to trigger again and again until we see clearly the pattern. Stilling the mind is a crucial step to hindering faulty impulses, but rational understanding hinders them from forming. We help others not by sacrificing ourselves and suffering, but by inspiring through example. It's better to understand what we appreciate about ourselves and share that with others, vs fighting for others love and approval.

    These kids were not taught empathy so as adults they lack empathy for themselves and for others. They had modelling of parents who offloaded their responsibility for their emotions off onto their children. The first step is awareness as you say but with a goal to take responsibility for one’s own feelings and being empathetic towards themselves and replaying that same empathy outside to the people in their lives. Simple but very painful.

    • @EmotionalOdysey
      @EmotionalOdysey หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@PoundshopPhil What you’ve said is very accurate, the lack of empathy often stems from early experiences and parental models. Developing self-awareness is crucial, but it's just the beginning. The ultimate goal is to take full responsibility for one's emotions and extend that same empathy to others. This process can be profoundly challenging but is essential for healing and growth.

      It can be tough to assess your feelings when you're hard on yourself, but self-awareness doesn't have to be overwhelming. Start by practicing self-compassion-try to observe your thoughts and emotions without judgment. Journaling or talking to someone you trust can help you gain perspective. Remember, self-awareness is about understanding yourself, not judging yourself. Be patient with the process.

    Dude, I just watched this and your video on alexithymia, what a one-two punch! Basically, I'm the timid guy and my girlfriend fits the alexithymia description pretty well. I've noticed early on that the best I can do is living my life fully. It's amazing how well she can sense my state of mind. When I'm fulfilled and centered everything is smooth and she can open up quite well. When I'm not, talking to her is incredibly hard. Everything is long winded and intellectualised or she gets angry and critical. But I'm starting to get the hang of it and I think she's improving too. I deeply love her and want the best for her/us but it's often very challenging. It felt good to have that be acknowledged here, thanks.

This's Not A Healthy Boundaries Btwn Couples/Can't Grow Bond For Long-term & Also Result In End-Up Being Parted...
