Baz Luhrmann - Wear Sunscreen (Original Narration Only)
มุมมอง 1Kปีที่แล้ว
I've always been surprised there wasn't an official public acapella of this (that hasn't been re-voiced by someone else). So here is one I did. Used UVR MDX-NET Main Inst HQ1 and UVR MDX-NET Karaoke 2 Models, Izotope RX9 and a couple of other tools. There's some little artefacts here and there but it's not bad. (I made one alteration to the narration for my own amusement)

Blood Debts - a 1983 Philippines action film, with the final scene famously known on youtube as "The Proper Way To End Your Film" and featured in an episode of Redlettermedia's Best of the Worst, with A-list celebrity Rich Evans - borrowed this track "On The Trail" by Roy Budd from 'The Stone Killer' movie soundtrack. John Carpenter's The Thing (1982) End Credits Theme (Movie version restoration)
มุมมอง 181K4 ปีที่แล้ว
I love the soundtrack to John Carpenters The Thing. However, every version I have heard including numerous bootlegs and fan collections/edits have never used the actual full end credits track from the movie. The movie version is not quite same as whats on the official album (different stereo arrangement, missing reverb at the start, most likely a different take or rerecording probably) and all ...
Stereo Ulysses 31 (TV episode short version) - Proof of Concept
มุมมอง 2915 ปีที่แล้ว
Ulysses 31, produced in 1981 in France and Japan was originally broadcast in the UK on BBC1 and then later on Channel 4 but with this shorter Introduction title sequence. As far as I know the English speaking Series was only mastered in Mono. I've had a - probably dumb - idea recently to convert an episode or at least a couple of scenes to true stereo. Using only the original DVD audio and the ...

Great job Disney, block it just before it gets most views per year and you get the money anyway. I'd expect this one will be next. It turns out I did have another Disney Record! You're one of us - Cry Little Sister Instrumental (From The Lost Boys) Slightly Extended Version.
มุมมอง 17K5 ปีที่แล้ว
Here's a part instrumental version of 'You're one of us/Cry little Sister' as used at the beginning of the movie The Lost Boys.. Slightly extended and chorus instrumentalised by me. - Just for a bit of fun. Quickly edited - sloppily - it's not cleaned or remastered or anything either. Other versions I've heard substitute certain parts with remade karaoke versions. Mine doesn't.

Following a suggestion from my Portishead Mysterons Instrumental - I've got some free time on my hands (Thanks redundancy!) so I thought I'd take a look at another track from dummy ~ Sour Times. Its not 100%, I had a bit of a time trying to remove some of the vocals from the chorus. Anyway Enjoy.

Portishead - Mysterons (Cut & Paste Instrumental)

So, back in 1994 I watched a programme on BBC2 that featured this tune. At the time I had no idea what it was, but in the show I only remember it without any singing. Later I found out it was Portishead - Mysterons. I spent the next few years looking for the instrumental version and even though I was convinced it existed due to hearing it back then - I never found it. I thought I'd cut and past...

    After watching Hundreds of Beavers this weekend I immediately tried to find what the heck the credits theme was because I un-ironically loved it. Had no idea it was originally the theme to some comically bad action movie from the 80s. Very funny that they used it, as it somehow manages to be perfectly fitting yet tonally out-of-place with the vibe of the movie all at once.

Also featured is also Disney v eteraan, Laura Olsher, from the 1963 CHILLING, THRILLING, SOUNDS, OF THE HAUNTED HOUSE, kind of started it all(!!) Heard all of these before. • @angrypredator2704
      @angrypredator2704 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, canceled in 2005 I think… it’s intense! After the events of the film, Soviet scientists discover the alien ship and upon investigation discover the half-assimilated remains of the pilot-thing. They bring it back to Siberia where for the next 30-years do biochemical experiments to try and weaponize it. In 2005 (when the story takes place) a terrorist-defector steals a vile of the Thing cells and try’s to smuggle it into the USA. At some point he gets himself infected/assimilated, tried to assimilate the passengers of the flight he’s onboard (in a scene akin to the the Kennel-Thing) causing the plane to crash in the rural Arizona desert. The miniseries then focuses on the CIA, military, and on of the original Russian scientists scrambling to contain the Thing as it infects an entire small town! It’s like “Aliens” meets “The Crazies”! Ultimately though it culminates in a thermonuclear bomb being dropped on the city!

    • @angrypredator2704
      @angrypredator2704 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah! After events if the film, Soviet scientists reviver the spacecraft from Antarctica and discover *another* Thing-alien mangled but still frozen in the wreckage. For the next 30-years, the Thing is studied by Soviets for its potential as bioweapon. In 2005, a scientist tried to defect to the US with virus sample - not knowing he’s caring the THING cells - he accidentally infects/assimilates himself on a flight over the Southwest. In a scene like the Norris-Thing, the alien attacks the crew causing it to crash in the Arizona. The miniseries is the US military, scientist, horrified townfolk, and one of the Russian scientists working to contain the Thing before it can escape to the outside world… it’s Fucking *Intense!*
