Ah those were the good old days, back when Davy sing was the only black man in the town but now there is believed to be over 35.000 of them! and it growing if you look at johns park every white girl has at least 1 or 2 blacks baby's , Waterford was once a beautiful place-God bless the true Irish people of Waterford!

1991? The new road (link road) by the hospital wasn't there in 1991! I soent my teens 1995 onwards drinking in those fields lol

I know the river well. Had a boat on here for 3 years so I see the differences hugely.

@BumpyNanorider I used to walk across it the whole time - We used to duck off school, cross the Red Iron over to the old Coca Cola factory and steal a few bottles of coke :D That must have been around 1994 ish. Maybe 1995.

I actually have one on VHS from 10 years earlier. Must root it out. Goes the whole way out the cork road from the same starting point. You think that video is different!! All I can say is…ritmos!!

Great Movie. But that's old Sallypark at the start. Not old Newrath. And there was a tantalising glimpse of John Hearn's on the Quay.

The place looked a lot better with all the big trees around, there's way too many roundabouts and traffic lights now too, i was only 3 when these videos were shot but I can honestly remember a lot of the stuff in them, particularly on the quays and the dunmore road, I didnt realize the link between the dunmore road and williamstown road was so old.
