I'd watch these promos as a naive high schooler in 1980 and wonder, why didn't the first wrestler stay out to hear what his opponent was saying in his promo... my thought was like, hey, Ken, you just missed Bob Backlund... he just left before you came to the microphone and started addressing him... little did I realize the promos were actually for us potential customers to get us to buy a ticket... 😆
