Meditation by Handel from Solo Time for Strings book 3 | Cellomoji Cover
Book: amzn.to/3N9bzSR
Piano: cellomoji.sellfy.store/p/meditation-by-handel/
This is Meditation by Handel which can be found in Solo Time for Strings Book 3. It is a combination of two melodies so there is a key change in the middle. Remember to keep the bow flowing easily and pay attention to dynamics. This is a beautiful and relatively easy cello piece. You can make it more challenging with shifting into positions and adding good vibrato. This is considered a UIL level 3 piece.
This is a great book for teachers of all string instruments. Each of these pieces is transposed for each instrument~ so in fact an ensemble could play these in unison. This is classified as a UIL Level 3 book and you only have to play one piece as an entry.

Region 32 MS Cello Etude 2024
มุมมอง 120หลายเดือนก่อน
Here's a playthrough of 2024's middle school etude cut for Region 32. For those of you who think this sounds like Popper 1...you are correct! Be sure to keep notes short even if you are practicing through it slowly. You don't need a lot of bow for each note. It is more about clarity. If you can do vibrato~ even better: especially on the notes that have accents on them. Good luck! And remember w...

Music: amzn.to/3xlYLBe Piano: cellomoji.sellfy.store/p/vlnlarghettohandel/ Here is a beautiful movement by Handel from his Violin Sonata Op 1 No 13. This Larghetto is a great piece to work on long phrasing, smooth bows, and beautiful tones. This doesn't mean it needs excessive vibrato, but you should have some to help with connecting the lines, and dynamic movement. Considered a UIL level 2 pie...

มุมมอง 752 หลายเดือนก่อน
Music: amzn.to/49znIKr Piano: cellomoji.sellfy.store/p/squirecradle/ This is a popular piece by Squire. I loved how there are so many changes of character throughout the piece. It can be quite flashy dependent on how fast you choose to take the tempo. Remember to keep your bow light and flowing unless you need the strength of weight in the b sections. This is considered a UIL level 3 piece. Be ...

Music: amzn.to/3Pkr0K4 Piano: This is a great easy piece if you want to play something a little more "jazzy". You learn about putting in a "swing" rhythm into the music versus playing just straight eighth notes. You can challenge yourself with trying non-open string fingerings and it can also add to contrast when the phrases start repeating. Be sure to stick to the end to hear my tip about the ...

Music: bit.ly/ycrbook Piano: cellomoji.sellfy.store/p/ttaria/ This is a transcription of Trumpet Aria by G.P. Telemann. It can be found as part of the Young Cellist's Repertoire book vol 3. @@Cellomoji its cool! definitely really hard on bass, as I've only been playing bass for less than a year, but I've gotten almost entirely got the piece down in less than a week!
love how this one has stronger vibrato than the book 1 video, makes sense :D

I am learning doxy on the trombone so it is so much fun to see/hear it on all different kinds of instruments! I’m not really fond of string instruments BUT you sound amazing
Thanks so much for your kind words!! I had a lot of fun learning this. Looking forward to hearing your version!
Thank you! I will make sure to post it on yt when it’s done and let you know😁
I just found out that NS instruments makes a fretted cello, what are your thoughts on this for a beginner? Nice playing Liz!👌
Thanks for your kind words! Hmm it's a tricky notion with frets. While in the beginning it may be helpful, I find that if you were ever to play an acoustic cello it would not translate over. The non-fretted version has dots to know where your fingers go, and that is helpful for geography.
@@Cellomoji Thank you for the input, I'm working on getting a cello!🙏
Nice playing!👌
Thanks so much!
Good
Thanks!
what are the notes
Thank you. It’s such a delight playing along with you. Also, your tips are helpful.
I'm so glad!!
Where is the cello part available?
Thanks for the reminder. I put it in the show notes. But you can grab it here: amzn.to/49znIKr
Liz YOU earned yourself a new sub! Also this helped me out so much!!
Thanks so much! I'm so glad I could help
It’s a wonderful journey being with you Liz. I pick up new details each time I practice this song with you. My timing is getting better and my instructor keeps giving me compiments. Thanks again 😀😃🥰
You're welcome! I'm glad to hear that I'm helping
In what book zusuki cello prelude?
I'm not totally sure of your question~ but if you are asking about the Bach Prelude from Suite no 1 it isn't in a Suzuki book. Only the minuets are located in Suzuki book 4. I highly recommend purchasing the complete Bach Suites as a separate book. Hope this helps!
@Cellomoji I do have the books. Im on book 3 right now. I was curious. I love that song. Thank you.
Awesome! Suzuki and the Bach books are separate but once you get to the minuets I encourage you to try to play the Prelude as well. Good luck!

De nada! I'm glad that I can help! 🙂
Thank you so much for this video! It's a little silly, but I was finally able to locate a song I remembered hearing my sister practice a lot but couldn't remember the name of (we live in different states, so the last time I heard her play cello was several years ago now, and she's far, far past Suzuki book 2) - Anyway! I appreciate this a lot. Great playing, also! You look like you're having so much fun :)
Wow that's awesome you could finally identify the song through the video! By the way which one was it? :) Thanks so much for your kind words and I'm glad I could help out. 😁
Just beautiful. Thank you.

Hi Liz, I like the new backdrop with the lights. I played this song for my cello instructor and she said she has has hundreds and even thousands of students but she was so impressed by my playing , she said I played like a third or fourth year student and I owe it all to your instructions! Thank you so much.
Thank you! I'm so glad you are finding my videos helpful. It is all your hard work that is paying off for sure!! It makes me very happy that I can help you on your cello journey. 🙌🙌
