Thank you so much. You've articulated so much about how I feel about this game's endings. I also get tired of people slamming the endings and the final choice because if they were bad people would not still be discussing them and dissecting them nearly a decade later.

I think that twitter thread is correct but I think it got the subjects switched. Everthing started because Max chose not to intervene when Nathan shoots Chloe in the bathroom (her shouting "no!" afterwards is what seemingly triggers her power). The thing is living with your choices would mean owning to the fact that Max could've saved Chloe in the beginning yet Max chose not to (out of fear, shyness, etc.), when Chloe dies she uses her powers to save her (multiple times) as a means to erase the fact that she originally let her die. So, in essence, live your own choices is bay over bae and putting everything under the rug is keeping Chloe alive

Gosh, those kinds of interactions from nurses is one of the things I fear the most about whenever I reach the front of the waiting list on the NHS. (Which I'm not too fussed about, that'll give time for PPTs to get performed in the private sector here and hopefully eventually percolate into the surgeons' general methods.) Like, practically-speaking, some of the considerations with my disabilities are also a factor of concern. But I try not to worry about that until it comes up in a consultation or what-have-you. But those social aspects do play in my head sometimes, especially after some other unrelated clinics had the same person use multiple different pronouns for me in their letters and reports. Also, jeez, some of the anti-trans and anti-plural comments here are quite upsetting. I'm sorry you got them. Lastly, my apologies for taking so long to get round to watching some of these >_< I think I saw some later ones when they were new, but... alas, lingering effects of long-covid and existing issues with chronic fatigue and ADHD combine...

This game is, IMO the best JP video game EVER made (maybe second to Choas Island). Theres something so eerie about this game that truely captures both the otherworldly feel and the horror that the books were going for. It's not the game the studio wanted, but its the game the source material deserved

I've often been told I should study this game to see why it succeeded or failed and this was honestly really eye-opening. Thank-you for sharing it with us, I had a great time :)

the hospital is bullshiting you to avoid responsibility I think. if a gynecologist told you that your vaginal canal is too narrow and they can't see anything inside, that was probably the truth. you should go to another gynecologist not affiliated with the hospital you had srs at for second opinion. the reason why you had to wait several days until the doctor who did your srs was available to check you is not because he knows the best like they told you, but because no one else wanted to take responsibility for you. and then they wrote that everything is fine, so it will be in papers and if something turns out to not be fine they will just say "everything was fine for the first 4 weeks so it's not that we did surgery wrong". Do you have any evidence of that bleeding you had? if you don't and it's not documented, the hospital can deny it even happened if you chose to sue them afterwards.
