Rimfire rifles and handguns are the center of attention here. Hit the subscribe button and come along for some squirrel hunting and lots of shooting fun. I’m new to TH-cam and trying to create better content with each video. I am trying to improve my shooting technique and become a more efficient long range Rimfire shooter. The goal is 200 and beyond.

I just picked up a CZ 457 in 22 WMR, drives tacks as well

I found my mountain cur dumped alreqdy full grown. She passed a week before Christmas. Man, i miss my girl Dixie. Truly one of the best dogs i ever had the pleasure of owning.

@@22waysoutdoorsBirdseed is getting more expensive & Squirrel does go good with gravy & dumplings. Cardinal & Blue Jay just don't appeal to me. Takes 2 dozen Titmouses to make a stew 🐦 😂.

That’s right come up here to WV to 20in of snow, my squirrel hunting isn’t shut for bit, so I’m glad you’re getting out and I can watch and still enjoy
@@joutdoorsmen23 3 inches darn near shuts Alabama down. I never have much success hunting in snow here but I love to get out and take some pictures.

@@user-lg1cs8ch1f Snow hunts are pretty rare here in Alabama ( thankfully) . I was glad to get the dogs out and get some pictures and video of them in the snow.

@@billdye3530 you said that as a joke but I do find a lot of truth in it. I was thinking how many body parts were already hurting on my drive home that never used to bother me even on an all day hunt when I started messing with these dogs 10 years ago.
@@22waysoutdoorsArthritis started causing issues at 55 & by the time I hit 65 it was don't leave home without Tylenol or Aleve. Now a 2hr hike equals 2 days of recovery. Knee surgery is getting closer every day. 🙏👍
I went to LBL this morning. Got 2, made 4-5 more, and saw bout 6 trucks with dog boxes. My black Fiest stands on the tree like Betty does.
@@gregwatruba4541 I rarely ever see another squirrel hunter and I hunt 4 different WMA’s depending on which ones are having deer hunts. Congratulations on the hunt.
@22waysoutdoors the squirrels at LBL have been hunted so much that at the 1st dog bark, they start running for their dens.

@@rodmanning7114 glad to be able to chase the dogs around. Sassy was supposed to be here on this trip but she didn’t want to come out of the kennel. She’s 10 so I don’t push her.
That was good shooting and a great video. I seem to find myself falling into the groove many times just like you did as I shoot more groups. And the gun seems to get warm happy also. Thanks

Very nice work there. Looks like perfect conditions for the test as well. I’ve only tested Sport, Team, Match & Tenex Biathlon. The best results was team after weighing then tuning with barrel tuner, burnt the batch off and tried a different batch, not the same 😖
Dude, that’s not 50 yards. That paper was only 1 inch away from the barrel 😜 Anyways, good shooting!

Your loading problems may be to do with the speed you are attempting to cycle the bolt; I notice that failures to feed seem to follow a very fast attempt to cycle the bolt.

@@billdye3530 you ain’t kidding. It was our first time fishing a tournament and only done this because it was a no entry fee charity event. We had fun and weighed in 4 small spotted bass at the end.
@22waysoutdoors Spots are hitting good in Boone lake here. Unsure after flooding how it's affected the smallmouth in the Nolichuckey river. The Noli has changed course a lot. 🙏
did you do anything to the gun? Like bedded bolt slim etc. play with action screw torque

Nice. I've added the Yo-Dave trigger spring to mine as well. Plus ZP Titanium firing pin, normal T3x rubber buttpad, Sako enlarged rubber bolt knob, a cheek riser, the Tikka vertical pistol grip and beavertail fore end.

Not only was that some great shooting but I don't know how you held your cool with the neighbors' dogs barking like that. I'm sure you've talked to them many times about it.

Does anybody know if the 5 speed manual transmission that's on the 4.3l if it'll bolt up to either the 5.3 or 6.0?
Meanwhile, my neighbor’s new Escalade with the DFM cylinder deactivation needed new lifters at 15k miles. After replacement, the techs went to test drive it. Engine seized before they got out of the dealership lot! Neighbor got a new longblock lol.

Time for a fuel pump. Every 100K miles
Had an 05 Escalade with 480k when the transmission went, wasnt worth fixing cost more for the trans than what it was worth. Had an 07 yukon xl with afm delete that i just traded in with 510k and was still going strong. Pretty sure the dealership scrapped it after they found the expanding foam and bedliner rocker panels.....😂😂😂
I have an 04 2500HD that has 279000. Still has original engine and transmission.
@@williammcguire1823 my trans only made it to 242k and the original engine went 445k.
My 04 has 340 and still purring.

The manufacturers soon learned, if they build less reliable vehicles, people will need a newer vehicle sooner. Now a days, your lucky if it survives up to 100k miles.

My O2 suburban has 300k + so, you got another 200k on me. Which most cars today cant even reach.
My Malibu is @ 310K. She's limping but I drive 100 miles round trip every day to work. Gonna drive the wheels off if that piece!😂
