And since I have a level 2 or lower monster on my field, Junk Warrior gets an attack boost (2600ATK). Now Junk Warrior, attack Dark Magician! Atem: Not so fast Yusei! I activate my facedown card! Magical Hats! Let's see if your Junk Warrior can guess which one hides my Dark Magician!

This made the Skull Invitation Tryout Duels feel way more intense than some of the previous tryout duels. except for the Snake Eyes Fire King players that burned themselves because they brought a graveyard resource deck to a ruleset that burns you for moving cards to the graveyard

I was instantly hooked in the first duel. Both me and the ai wanted to badly finish the game, we were almost 30 turns in. But everytime one of us had multiple trap monsters before the final direct attack and even boardwipes in one round didn't stop either of us to have 3+ traps and 2 or more eldlich on the field again the next turn. And together with the music, it was just an amazing battle. And even if they counter me 5 times, I still have trap monsters to protect myself tge following turn, and they come back immediately. It's like you have an infinite supply of monsters for defense
