"It's not how it's supposed to be made. It's thrown together with what I had in my house" is literally how I learned how to cook, and that's the BEST way to cook

He’s only reason why traditional became traditionalist. Guess that’s all they had. I mean mixing stuff together and throwing things together make new dishes that’s kinda how are you? Do you know experiment and figure out if you like something or not that’s because it’s not fully traditional doesn’t mean it’s not good.

✨sumac onions and beef on flatbread✨ like, save, and follow @practical.nutritionist for more easy, healthy recipes (higher protein, lower fat, veggie filled #fluffwithveggies) Are you still over complicating healthy eating? Stop it. It’s what’s making it so hard to stay consistent and feel like a “normal person” around food. Go back to your roots. What were your ancestors eating? How can you incorporate that today with what you have in the house right now? How can you fluff with veggies and prioritize protein? Maybe moderate your fat and carb portion? In the practical path course I teach you how to build healthy habits and make eating healthy easy so you can find your happy weight once and for all. No more dieting. No more stressing. No more confusion over disordered eating and simply being a healthier version of yourself. I’ll teach you how to be the naturally healthy person you’ve always want to be. For a super low cost (like $34.99 low), at your own pace, with real practical advice. Comment “practical path” for more info or tap the link in my bio. Let’s work together 🤍 Ingredients: 4-5 onions 2 tbsp sumac 4 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp coriander 1 tsp cardamom 1 tsp cinnamon Salt to taste 3 Persian cucumbers 2 tomatoes Lemon Flat bread of choice 1 lb lean ground beef Use spices above to season beef to taste Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 400. Add chopped onions, olive oil, sumac, and all the other spices to a baking dish. Mix well, cover with aluminum foil and bake for ~45-60 minutes or until onions are caramelized 2. Cook ground beef over the stove with the same spices until cooked through - set aside 3. Make salad in a bowl with cucumbers, tomatoes, lemon juice, salt 4. Assemble when the onions are done by toasting the bread, layering with onions, beef, and salad. Enjoy!
