My only advice is to go with what feels and reads right to you, I wouldn't personally change it due to anyone's criticism. In the end it is your artistic expression.

It's really cool to hear your author process for your second book. Balancing action and conversation/slow moments can be real tricky for sure. When in doubt, always look back to make sure the scene doesn't mess up the pacing of the story at large. Balance is key. Glad your parents help you out too. ^^ I'm working on my second book right now, though I had to take a break for a few weeks due to being sick. :( That said, I just finished a chapter my mother and I came up with together for the Pastor of Stone Creek, and I hope the chapter goes well for everyone when they read it. :) Got lots of storyline in this book for characters that didn't get much time to shine in the last one, and it's been fun working on it. I'm even already future planning for book 3 and beyond in many ways. Writing is so much fun, hehe. In regards to the parents, I'm grateful to have my mother help me, especially in editing. Without her help, my book would be a lot more flat. I learned a lot from her, though, and hopefully, book 2 will be even better. :) Glad you found a good series to read! ^^ I need to get back to reading myself. Also, look at the pretty horses!

Your real dad did a great job. 😂 I would agree the laws in this country are very laxed for certain crimes. Some of the laws make absolutely no sense. Another stellar video by one of my favorite booktubers.

I admit my age group is practically not fully existent in my church. I still have a Sunday school group of young adults, but most, if not all, are a bit younger than me, so I'm the oldest. It can be sad when you don't have any to hang out with your age. That's not even counting on the fact on whether you have similar interests to those around you as well, making conversation awkward if not outright nerve-racking. I manage okay, but I can't say I actually have 'friends' in church. Anyways, it seems like you had a nice month. A couple of books and movies, which you can't go wrong with for sure, plus that trip you did with your dad and stuff too you mentioned a video or two ago. ^^ Hope you have a good September too. My wife really likes the Kevin Sorbo movie "What if..." from 2010. I'm not a fan of it. The only Christian movies I like are the Charleston Heston films "The Ten Commandments", "Ben Hur" & the TNT television Bible movies from the 1990s like "Abraham" with Richard Harris, "Joseph" with Ben Kingsley & "David" with Leonard Nimoy as the prophet Samuel.
