Yeah not really but these jumps are quite big actually, but they don't really have gap jumps in the park except a big step-up near the bottom. But I think there are some new bigger jumps this year.

@@Cyzatic Yeah, well it depends on your budget and if you want a hardtail or full-suspension bike. But I think Canyon have a pretty good range of bikes that are quite decent and doesn't cost too much. Maybe a Stoic or a Specrtal would be a good choise.

Hi! I chose the elevated chainstay because the guys on Marion said it would be stiffer and stronger. I also asked them to make it more high pivot without getting too much pedal kickback. That was what I got but the only bad thing is that tere where no bottom out support... I actually sold the bike after one year because I got a real nice offer on another bike... It was a nice bike that I felt comfortable on but it was a bit too flexy for me. The guy who bought it actually snapped the chainstay in half a few weeks ago but he will get a new one. At least they have good customer service at Marino :) I don't think Marino a bad brand but it depends on how hard you ride and what design you put on the frame.

That's the second case of the Marino chainstay snapping, which I encountered here on TH-cam, but I still consider them - price-wise it's hard to compete with them. Their closest rival (Egerie Velo Moto) offers frames, that cost at least twice more. Of course, I expect the steel to be more durable (material fatigue), but I understand that one can break anything: alloy, carbon, steel, or titan. Do you happen to know where exactly the chainstay was broken: a weld seam or pure material failure? I only go custom to get the proper stack height for my 89-90 cm legs at 183 cm height: I prefer to pedal when my saddle and bars are evenly leveled. Thus I run even more spacers than Jack Moir (and against a fork manufacturer's recommendations of 30mm max) + 50mm rise bars.

Yeah that's true. I think it snapped because of a weak weld. Sounds like you know how you want your bike setup👌
