As one side Of Stratton is full of Homesick Contest go'ers, others were off Getting a full dose of Stoke. Most of the mountains got 10-16" of puke.. with this storm. Viewing the footage later, I realized this was shot in slow motion. It did come out pretty cool in the end. Please share your thoughts in the comments. hey everyone, sorry its been way to long. Here we are back with an easy fix on this Mariner 5 HP 2 stroke outboard engine. Owner stored eging where water was able to enter and in the cold New Hampshire winters, well it cracked and pushed out the oil. Hope the video Helps out and Thanks for Watching.

Hey tubers! welcome back to another repair. In this video, we attack replacing a common problem, a rusted/rotten oil dipstick tube on a 2010 ford F150, this one is the 5.4 liter engine.. The new tube was purchased on ebay for around 38.00 shipped. I thought it would be a quick and easy fix, but you know it never is. Samuel, been loving life. Okemo has been a mad house in recent years. Its too busy for me. I didnt get a chance to make it to Tuckermans this past Spring but we did the last 2 Springs. Such an sick mountain. Not working the bus currently. Misty is running super Strong. Had her engine out this spring to put a muffler and heat exchangers on. Ive been a busy man trying to have more fun than work in the last few years. Take care and thanks for checking in.

@@oldebbanflo i was able to simply put it in neutral from what i remember.
@EmanDeluxeVLOGS i think my break is stuck ive tryed the netural and pushing in the clutch but still frozen bad thing is its in my truck bed lol only paid 90 for it tho
@@oldebbanflo i scrapped mine years ago... i want to say the brake pad is right under the seat. It brakes the transmission. Neat set up. Good luck empting the truck.✌️

@@eegg6954 100%! I just did the high pressure hose on power steering. Not too fun either. Next on my lost will be the passenger exhaust manifold. Not looking forward to that 1 at all. ✌️
question how did you get the new one in im having a angle problem with the E manifold ... new/new hardwear I hate to have unbolt it ?
I've heard others having a difficult time getting new one in. I honestly don't remember mine that difficult. I also heard the if you have a aftermarket exhaust manifold, there was an issue? Ìm not 100% sure. Good luck 👨
i been wrenching my whole life im a prity smart fell i don't know why i did not think of this while i was fighting it. it worked I used a slide hammer with vise grips on the bolt i threaded in.

I got one wire kff....but the wires going to the combustion motor i cant get off..do they pull off..i dont want to break it
How did the wire come off..you don't mention. It
Sorry about that, didn't realize. Yes, once power is disconnected, the wire leads should pull off, take care to not pull from the wire itself, bit more from the connector of the wire which can be done with some needle nose type of pliers. Take care hope it helps.

My mother's VW had a gas tank that had crud in it, and the tank started leaking. The fumes from the gas entered the van. Her mechanic had to pull the motor because it threw rod after some 150,000 miles. While the engine was out, she had the tank pulled out, and a brand new one installed before the new engine was put in. Her mechanic also said all of the tanks were getting bad in all of the VW Van's from that period. She had a split window 1965 bus.

I know this is an older video, but did yours make this noise only at start up or constantly? Mine makes it only at start up.
I seem to remember the season before it started making noise intermittently then horrible sound coming from fan the following season. The bearings had had enough. So it was a warning that it was on the way out.. Thanks for watching and comment. Have a great day. E-🦸♂️

Hardest part obviously was getting the old part out as seen in the video. The new part slips right into place once prepared. One bolt secures it to the block i believe. Good luck sir.
@EmanDeluxeVLOGS I'm at the point of extraction at the moment. Damn thing broke off nearly flush with the block. Will try some easy-out. Hopefully, it will come out
@@AlexanderRomanovsky i understand, that is a difficult to get out. Bring your patience to the table. I had to plug it temporarily until I had the time to extract it from the block. It in not impossible to get out but I tried my best to document how I got mine out. Good luck
Honestly I'm having a hard time getting the new one to go in, I can't seem to get the bottom end closer than 1/2 inch. Mine is 2010 and it looks from the intake snorkel yours is the same right? I also have a dorman exhaust manifold and I m wondering if that's causing me problems.

My dipstick rusted off about half way. I un tighted the bolt beside the valve cover. How does the dipstick come out , just pull it ?

My 59 Deluxe has most of a compleat set of Maytag washer and dryer metal used as patches All hand formed with dolly and sandbag and hammer welded with flux core...I could run My welder with gas but have not seen a need to...it was a learning curve however...but mistakes can be corrected and knowledge comes from the experience
