Rose Tyler IS the Moment. She was destined to lead the Doctor to change the outcome of the war. I definitely hate how they absolutely villafied the time lords significantly which reduces the impact of the doctor's losses. To me everytime he mentions the death of Gallifrey, its like "why be mad when you try to keep them in isolation from the rest of rhe timelines?

What about all the times it flew in the Whittaker era? There aren't a lot of redeeming parts of that era but some of the Tardis establishing shots it had were magnificent.

God 9 was so amazing.

so many ww1/2 references, and as a dumb american, its taken me 10+ years to see them. Too bad ww1 wasn't the last great war...

I always thought the flight when Rose is returning to rescue 9 was the best one. The TARDIS isn't somersaulting and veering around the time vortex like when the Doctor pilots; it's flying itself and it's leaning forward into the direction of travel. It really brings a sense of intent to its movement, like the TARDIS itself is hurrying back to rescue the Doctor. It also highlights how despite his literal thousands of years of practise the Doctor is not actually very good at piloting the TARDIS.

I feel like they haven’t topped the runaway bride chase scene in terms of action and excitement since. It’s so fun to watch
