Hello everyone! Great goggles 3 🔥 Unless there is a problem... Avata 2 pack purchased in April, 3/4 uses, the goggles no longer charge "headphone battery overheating" If anyone has ever had this problem...🙄

Yes they are very poor quality. Mine has a faulty current sensor so it provides wrong amp reading. Two motors also failed within the first hour of use. Geprc honoured warranty for motors (only after a lot of pushing from me) and now the replacement motors are failing in the same way (bearings dying within an hour of use). The FC doesn’t even have a barometer so gps rescue sucks! I will be fitting a GPS with barometer to sort this. More $$. I should have just saved my money and went with a chimera7.

What controller do you buy to fly on a pc simulator im confused

not the first with forehead and tip up from DJI , I still have the very first version with the big bulky screen unit , they mounted pretty much the same as these ones and had HDMI in so could use them with anything that had HDMI out .

I had easily successfully replicate this twice today.

I bought one of these Avata 2 bundles hoping to Segway into a true FPV drone. For the money I spent I'm starting to get a little worried. We're like 4 months in and still no word on air unit compatibility. It's really unsettling, and I kind of wish I went for Goggles 2 or a different video system instead

Hi everyone, I just installed Liftoff, I have a PS4 controller and I have a problem. After correctly calibrating my controller, it works properly in the simulator’s starter tutorials but when I start the game, I can no longer lower my controller to arm the drone. Does anyone have a solution?

It’s obvious your flying to close to an alien base in the mountains. Don’t fly near alien bases.

I don't know if anyone can read this because YT has a tendency to restrict people's views. Especially the little man (so to speak) But DJi are ripping off thousands of there customer's with these Goggles saying they are unable to manufacture them completely free from dead pixels. I have just had probably the most stressful time with them for years. This stress probably cost me my job. But 6 weeks arguing about these dead pixels in there Goggles free and me saying that if that issue was clearly advertised then I would know what I was buying. Three set's of Goggles returned with promise that the issue was fixed and every time dead pixels in different places. Buy at your own risk and if you're vision is bad,, I mean mine isn't the best but there is no missing these black dots (dead pixels) in the Goggles 3!

Compatible with DJI 03?

No antenna replacement? just can't seem to buy the perfect set from any company. To many engineers involved in design, not enough actual users.

I saw a teardown video of the goggles3, the antennas are Glued in, removal is difficult, without disassembly.

Nothing about battery life? Two drone batteries and I'm down to two lights (50%?) The DJI Goggles 3 are a world of difference from DJI Goggles RE, too bad I can't use them with my air units.

So that's what it is! This has happened to me a couple of times every flight and I couldn't work out what was going on. Does it always roll to the right for you when it happens? I've only had it death roll to the right, not the left. To the point where I have started doing tight turns purposefully to the left, and seems to have reduced the issue.

If there is still that likelyhood that my drone is going to kill itself by diving to the ground and now with a less durable 1 piece design of a body, i'll save me some money and just buy the axis flying kit on my OG Avata. It's undeniably more durable and the option to upgrade the guards and motors to a bigger and better one is unbeatable especially because it actually fixes the issue. Would be nice to ugrade the camera as well but welp🤷‍♀️

Yea it's a cinewhoop... this is not an "Avata problem", it's a cinewhoop problem... which is why I dislike cinewhoops in general. I'm returning my Avata 2 and putting prop guards on my Mini 4 Pro or Mavic 3 and setting the camera on "FPV Mode" if I want close in shots that look FPVish. The Avata 2 is too close to a camera drone to be a decent FPV drone and severely lacks as a camera drone as well. Basically, it sucks as a camera drone and a FPV drone... It's the spork of drones!

Same problem here, just flying straight and making a sharp yaw turn blew it out of axis.. must be something wrong in the software

Yep, DJI messed it up if this is reproducible. No other Cinewhoop I know has this issue

It's definitely not to heavy compared to the original. Just flying in sport mode it feels like it's doing 40 instead of 30. JS. Great flying.

You are correct in remembering that it's not a freestyler. Adjusting rates improves it. Master Airscrew will no doubt release some alternate props that will reduce it further, like they did on Avata 1. End of the day, it's a heavy Cinewhoop.

It seems like all guarded or ducted whoops are prone to this to some degree. If this was the gen 1 Avata I don't think you would have recovered from that. It would have been sleeping on the pavement below.

All ducted cinewhoop pieses of shit does drop rear, I think it's better than other cinewhoops

I think I know what is causing this issue, but first, can you please tell me what are your rates ? Are you flying on stock controller rates from Dji ?

I also had a question regarding the throttle stick. I have mine set to stay, and not recenter, however the throttle only activates about halfway going up. Is there a way to have the controller use all of the throttle stick, and not half?

I fly mine around some pretty sharp corners and dives and havent had this issue occur. Although I dont full throttle it, I still get around 50mph. It feels like this could possibly fixed with a software update, but we'll see if DJI addresses the issue.

Its too heavy for a 3". For how much of a brick it is it actually flies ok if you go easy. I have one and it flumps out with any kind of nimble freestyle maneuvers I'm used to on my self builds.

Yup, I've seen videos of this occurring on the Avata 2 as well, been holding off until the o4 air unit.
