I just googled “1989 pioneer audio receiver no sound” and found my receiver. I bought it at the PX while in the Marines in Japan. Mine has audio at times but then drops out. Hope to be able to repair it.

After the steady green with blinking red light, i unplug and then plug it again but it shows red blinking light only.

Good afternoon, thanks a lot for your video. I have an LG Tv with TCon Board. I can see signals Clock 1 to Clock 8. But on some videos people have not apply tape on the 3 firsts ones. Why ? I was wondering that we have to block all the clocks signals like you ? In fact my question is more like : do we have to block all the Clock signals or only a part of them could be enough !? Just got a pioneer VSX -9300. The push buttons are intermittently working, after i power on. Sometimes i cant switch, CD, Tuner, Tape, Tuner, A-B speaker. Bass level, trebble level. If i tap on the top it will start to work. Luckily my remote bypasses it and it works with no issue. Not sure but i think something is playing out. Its clean looking as well. No dirt or burnt boards. Got it used at Goodwill. Any idea what it could be? Im gonna use it regardless, decent power. Any tips helps. 2024.

Luv ur vids. I have a LG 43um7000pla that's has a black screen, when I pull out the right output the picture shows on half the TV. Try the tape method an can't seem to find the pin. Could it be the main board? Thanks
