From what i can tell the typhon is faster than the kraton...but what about strength... just finished typing that when collision happened guess crash says kraton is stronger. Other than the crash which of the 2 has needed less repairs since video?

I’ve got to do this job on my VFR800. There’s a lot of talk on other forums/manuals about depressurising the fuel system. Is this really needed or is mole grips fine? I’d be worried about them damaging the fuel hose but guess I could protect with something in the jaws. Also are there any O-rings inside the FPR that need replacement?

Bout to clean everything up, get the valves, head gaskets, and plugs. Try to knock everything out in one go. Wish you showed what to do if the valves were out of spec, from what I've read that seems pretty rare but I do wail on her sometimes. Also, those extra connectors under your seat I believe are the ones that are normally ran to the back along the subframe, right by your taillight and evap canister. Forgot what they were for, I want to say it's diagnostics and some others are for aftermarket electronics like tire pressure monitoring for those who take em racing. Appreciate the free information man 👍

Apparently it's impossible to get the tank back on after it's been removed, due to swelling.

Will be giving this a go tomorrow after finding my tank won't go back on at all, thanks mate 👍

Had a tank slapper the other day. I try to keep it down but I do ride aggressively sometimes and do some sketchy shit here and there. What I'm asking is, is there any other places to mount the quadlock? If not, how sketchy is that mounting really? I am going to be subjecting the whole setup to more forces than most riders, cornering over bumpy surfaces and all.
