The 90s Jingles were so much better than today and that logo was much better (plus it reminds me of the Roadshows)

I remember the instrumental after 'Here's what happening on Radio 1' played by Simon Mayo at 6, 7, 8 and 9am when he would announce what was happening in the next hour. It was catchy and arguably better than some of the singles around at the time!

If this a live show, which show had it? March 1995 or January 1997? 🧐

My favourite of all the Radio 1 jingle packages. Some such as "The Happy happy sound" 7:42 were used right up until the 1987 package and the change of musical logo. A real classic.

DLTs Treble Top felt like a national institution in those days. Memories of listening in the car with Mum and Dad when we'd go shopping on a Saturday. This package also brings back memories of early going to 1990s Roadshows when they upgraded to the massive stage they used til the Roadshows demise in 1999.

Global ruined everything. This was when Capital Radio really was London No 1 music Pow-Pow-Power Station, with the best jingles throughout the late 80’s into the early 90’s, absolutely nothing compared.
