Man I miss not seeing and hearing Jimmy Mills anymore. Got a great picture of him one time at The Opry when he posed for me on stage with his banjo. Met him one time at a smaller venue and he was a class act. Loved hearing him on the banjo.

Banjo: JD Crowe Guitar: Robert Hale Dobro: Phil Leadbetter Bass: Curt Chapman Mandolin? I'm not sure. He filled in during a personnel change. That's the only show I saw him play with them. That was a really fun day.
@ehc549 Thank you. I wasn't sure about the guitar & mandolin players. I used to be the talent buyer for a couple of venues that played Crowe on a reccuring basis. I also promoted two Bluegrass Album Band shows back in the 80s.

Why do Tony and JD switch places for the harmony parts? I.e. why doesn't JD just take the mic nearest the place where he is standing during the verses?
