I just got one of these and it works fine for charging but in storage mode it still charges the battery instead of discharging. ?????
Volts is all a guy needs to know 3.85 done 2 seconds it took

How well does the stock retain the extra magazine? Have you ever lost any mags because they fell out?
I just got two 3s Lipos and i was like "oh shit i should probly do a good check up" on the cells and storage mode to do some maintenance to keep the batteries healthy out of the factory

Pretty good video. Like the shout out to Bomb Up Photography at the end. If you have not been down for a while there has been a considerable amount of work done to the site. Hopefully see you down there.
Would like to visit again some time as I do like the site. Only thing that put me off was the team balance was very one sided towards players that were obviously regulars. This made it very hard for my team to make any progress and seemed very off putting to some new players that were there.
This was the only video that was actually showing how to do it instead of talking about it
Yeah I have been looming to see what the storage charge amps should be on my 11.1v 1100mah lipo and finally someone showed me it was 1.0 amps
Dude. Ive just bought the same charger. This one is FAKE. Counterfeit product. There is a good demonstration vid on here on how to tell.

The high cap mag is awful. I'm getting feeding issues. Anyone looking for buy one, get the cyma mid-cap mags. They need filling slightly but feed perfectly.

Yes I'm still enjoying my MP5 but if I'm honest I have heard some bad reviews on the Bolt MP5's particularly the SD versions for general build quality and fire selector issues with all models due to the plastic selector disc used inside the RIF. I wouldn't write off the Bolt brand but maybe be ware of the MP5 models. Definitely steer clear of the SD versions.
Is that upgraded?
Not as far as I'm aware they never said anything about upgrades on Airsoft Competitions where I won it. FPS has dropped off quite a bit since this was filmed so I have replaced the hop rubber to a Modify X Range 70°, replaced the original spring with a ZCI M150 AEG spring, fitted a spring bearing and removed the barrel bridge. Currently shooting at 470fps on 0.2g (2.04 Joules) and 330fps on 0.43g (2.16 Joules) . Seems to have good range and accuracy but not really been able to test this properly yet.
My battery is a 5000mah 14.8v and 4c and it doesn't not go above 1.0 is it safe to do it on it
I believe it should be fine it will just take a while. Do a bit more research in the RC community who use batteries of that size more than I would in airsoft. For example RC cars, helicopters and drones.
thank you! my lipo is 2.2a and 11.1v - which setting do i need to use in storage? Also 1.0a and 11.1v?
For storage mode it seems the Imax won't allow anything higher than 1 amp so I'd go with that on 11.1v for your battery then just let it do its thing till it bleeps and flashes up the end message.

@@radjan666 discharge would drain the battery completely if left to completion which is not a good state for LiPo batteries unless you are using it as part of a disposal process. Storage mode will stop charging/discharging when the correct storage voltage is reached.

How much did the upgrades cost?
Sorry its taken a while to get back to you but I'm afraid I can't remember what it cost as several of the parts I fitted I had lying around at home from previous projects.
Charge current is NOT always the same as capacity... Setting charge current should always be reference from the battery data sheet. Following this advice could cause a battery to explode.
How was it in game thinking of getting one ?
If I'm honest at first this particular one was not good. Tried running it on 7.4v 20c battery and it kept jamming up eventually damaging the gears. Fixed that and switched to either a 7.4v 25c or an 11.1v 15C and now runs spot on. Since then I've upgraded hop rubber and nub to Mapleleaf ones and range and accuracy is amazing. Seems to be my main RIF of choice now. If you do decide to buy a Bolt RIF and your on Facebook then look for the Bolt owners group that I run.

So my LiPo is a 7.4v 1300MaH, Does this mean I should charge it at 1.3amps at 7.4v
That's what I'd do based on the research I've done.
Charge at 8.4v Reason is because a 7.4v battery is 2s. And each cell is 4.2v. So 2x4.2 = 8.4v
Shouldn't a single LiPo cell be loaded with 4.2Volts? With 3 cells you are at 12.6Volts. 3.85 to 3.95 Volt is the storage capacity of a LiPo (3S = 11.55V). So you are loading with storage capacity only... What does the specification say?
You are correct. For a single cell to be fully charged it should be 4.2v but in this video I don't mention the cell voltages and I am only demonstrating how to start the balance charge process. It dose not show the completed charging process.

The front hand rail kit is from Cyma. Hand to do a bit of work with a Dremel to make it fit. I have since changed the mosfet from the Gate X ASR to a Jefftron active brake trigger contact set as well.

Discharge mode for 3s lipo, what amp that use ?
Sorry can't help with this as I have never used the discharge mode
Man, what an awesome video... If I have three 18650 cells in parallel, say about 12 amp hour capacity, you wouldn't recommend charging at 12 amps (or whatever the highest charge rate is) would you? Isn't that bad to charge at a higher amperage?
Sorry mate couldn't comment on using 18650 batteries as I have no experience with them.
I sold my AS02 & AST-01 for SRS A2 covert.

Scope is from Amazon. Cost £65. Spike Tactical 1.5-4X30BE Rifle Scope w/Tri-Illuminated Recticle & PEPR Cantilever Mount Airsoft Hunting. Very clear with good adjustment for individuals eyesight

I'd recommend using nuprol green gas 2.0 to protect your seals dry PTFE spray internals not grease and use Stealth Tactical Elite 0.25g BBs for Accuracy.

@@CryptoBond007 he's made several purchases. Thought the quality was very good. Quite fancied one of these myself.
@@zombiesquadairsoft1492build quality seems really smooth and it has a fixed barrel which is also good if you want to use a suppressor. a good side arm with a few tweaks definitely.

A lot better but note after this vid I also had to replace the complete gear set as the motor pinion and bevel gear decided to self destruct. So it now has as SHS pinion gear and Modify caged gear set.

@@NorotorFC yes they are standard gears I have now replaced mine with a set of Modify caged gears and an SHS pinion gear on the motor. Gear set uses 6mm bushings.
