I hate how Player 2/CPU has an advantage because the timeline sweeps from left (P1's side) to right (P2/CPU's side) which can screw Player 1 at the beginning since they have barely any time for 1-2 squares while Player 2/CPU can already have 3+ squares ready.

Diese Zonenrennen sind für mich der größte Scheiß. Wipeout war dafür bekannt Gegner abzuschießen rund um knackige Kurse. Das ist einfach nur ein Blödsinn,ich finde es das dümmste Rennen das es auf der Omega Collection gibt. Zudem wird mir das Spiel mittlerweile zu schnell,da kommste fast nicht mehr mit. Aber es muss ja immer noch schneller,noch weiter,noch höher sein. Wird mit Sicherheit das letzte Wipe Out sein was ich mir gekauft habe.

Phenomenal mate. Was looking for this as I'm doing it for the weekly TT on Discord. Hadn't even thought of the BRs on the bridge, will work on these and hopefully nick a few extra thousand. Done a number of runs now, at first it was my least favourite track and felt really unnatural. With practice it's become one of my favourites. The first section is so technical, it pulls you all over the place past zen if your line isn't perfect.

I really wish we could play the 2048 tracks in Detonator mode. I also wish that custom music worked the same way in Omega Collection as it did in WipEout HD.

I am so slow at clearing blocks and getting my score up compared to this video. My highest score is 2.7 million and I havent been able to beat it in years even though I still play Lumines Remastered to this day.

8:44, 11:55, 18:18 & 23:58 The city does have nice atmosphere, like how we see the moments in such science fiction films that we love like RoboCop, The Fifth Element & Blade Runner.

beyond ensuring a score multiplier is there much motivation behind getting really large chains of squares in a single sweep since it seems the levels go up faster as you do this? cos im trying to get higher scores since ive initially beated the challenge and im not sure if its something that would help

In my opinion, Mission Mode is like the advanced tutorial for Lumines. It teaches players to recognize patterns in blocks to make squares more efficiently. It also tests them on how fast they can clear squares.

So... the PSP version's boost is dead silent while the PS2 version's is loud enough to trigger an avalanche. That's kinda funny.
