Mali people were also known as Malloi, Malian, Maliar, Mulu, Malhi etc in history. Those ,who converted into Islam are generally known as Maliar people. Ancient Mali Gana people were worshipper of Supreme cosmic energy as Adishakti Devi Mata ,so they are priest in many Devi Mata temples in India & they were agrarian tribe and having skills in horticulture and floriculture, so wherever they settled in India ,they adopted horticulture and floriculture as their profession for survival .
