I learned the opposite. I learned to never show yourself as a CEO to make it more mysterious. You could start a 2 man company, and have the person working under you to advertise your product for marketing, and it creates a sense of a larger scale business due to the fact that the CEO is already out of the picture, therefore it afforms the customer that the company is more trustworthy to buy from. Its not exactly business lingo, nor specific, but in marketing class, that was one of the first lessons for ROI and a marketing campaign. Look at all the big corporations and tell me if you've ever seen the actual CEO in any of their commercials, pop up events, or product marketing on different platforms... not saying i'm right, just saying what i was taught was different.
