I owned a 2022 Outback. No power and bad gas mileage. It never got over 18mpg in the city. I tried every trick I could think of to improve the mpg. Consumer Reports got 16mpg city.

This thing looks so fugly with tons of cheesy black plastics sticked on all over the place with such overload , than cheap and cheesy CVT , than underpowered 2.5 liter engine , cheesy touch screen LCD .... Sorry but old reliable AWD can only get it so far . Subbie needs new styling, design , drivetrain or at least proper transmission and please dump these cheap Walmart like black plastics as in 3 yrs of sun it will look even worse
