I remember that '87 World at the Vue. Best presented World Final ever, and the only time I've written a letter to a promoter thanking him for the superb meeting presentation. It was the only time the stadium lights were switched off and the stadium put into complete darkness before a spotlight (a follow spot in theatre terms) picked out the drivers on the grid. Stunning. Really put a smile on my face when Frankie highlighted that one!

Great to see smiler still active, one of the big names and much respected, especially for the way he drove clean. Unfortunately, as a red roser, I was mostly in the Lund and super Stu camps but appreciated any good race.

There's some great characters around, both Pauls are fun (Hines and Harrison), Tom is a great sport, always willing to help others. Frankie always gives you good video comments, too. I love this sport. Sad we've lost (hopefully temporarily) another stadium. Good luck team Harrhy for the consolation. 👍

Jake has made massive gains this year and it’s great to see. Gutted he hasn’t made the final, but his time will come.

Shame about that shunt in the semi setting you back so much. It did seem like Jake hadn’t got the confidence in holding the corners too. Definitely could see people like Frankie holding a tight line but still keeping the speed. Although the latter stages of the race did spread out so it’d be a tall order to push forwards.
