Hi there MALPS - I had a different youtube channel last time we talked so I'm not sure if you remember me at all, but I was in your mental health server for a short period under the name Banny. (I promise the reason I left wasn't anything personal, there was just a lot of kids in the server and I'm in my mid 20s so I felt weird and out of place lol!) I mentioned how much I related to your struggles because I also have emetophobia, anxiety, and depression (among other conditions I have). After YEARS of therapy and struggling to find a therapist that I clicked with, my emetophobia is now fairly manageable and I can generally go out to eat without too much anxiety. (It probably helps that I worked at a restaurant for a while that had strict hygiene policies, lol.) But I still struggle to eat at other people's houses and I'll often even bring my own food or just eat before I show up so that I won't be hungry when I show up anyways. I struggle to even use the dishes at someone else's house because I don't trust that they cleaned them properly. Emetophobia at its worst is truly crippling. I fully relate as well to your fixation with the past and your other depression symptoms, including the really dark stuff. (censoring myself so yt doesn't delete my comment) I don't want to yammer on too long here, but if you're looking for extra support, I am still absolutely willing to talk with you. The server didn't work out for me, but if you ever want to talk privately, I would be happy to. I obviously am not a substitute for a therapist, but it's clear we have really similar struggles and I do feel I could provide a lot of insight as someone who is recovering from health anxiety. Malps I understand how mental health struggles can feel like an endless cycle of anxiety and depression. I went through this myself for a long time and the battle was not easy to kept going in real life. Trust me there was time that I wanted the battle to stop and just be happy as well. But I do know for a fact that no matter how tough anyone mental health struggles might be there’s always an way out. Yes I understand it can be hard to see and understand while you are dealing with this but I promise there’s always hope and there’s always brighter days. Keep fighting and keep moving forward Malps me, Rkg, Kleeh, and CK we all love too very much.🙏🏾🙏🏾💙💙🫂🫂

Something I actually really like is when you talk about mental health! It takes a lot of strength and courage to allow yourself to be so openly vulnerable. Mental health is so stigmatized, and I like to think this will allow other people to see vulnerability and drop some of the stigma. :) Thank you for your delightful content!
