I remember being a young ass kid and coming home from a track once on a Saturday night and having the silver s10 fly past my parents car doing roll races against some bikes instantly sparked my love for street racing. Wild to see how far everything has come in the years

I've always liked this truck ever since I first saw it and it continues to grow on me because yes I'm a huge Chevy guy but I'm not so much of an LS fan boy I'm more of a Grubb Worm fan because he mostly runs the Gen 1 SBC and uses the OG LT1 as his backup engine and whichever engine he throws in the car he can run extremely fast with either one and now you have brought your S10 onto the stick shift scene with an LS and have jumped right into the mid to high 6s right off the rip and for one I think that is awesome in itself but I also love S10 trucks and I'm just glad that you don't drive a Corvette like most of the other LS stick shift guys and I don't know if you know this guy or not but I know Jonathan with Grubb Worm does because he works and does alot of fabrication on Jonathan's car but Steven from Rock Solid Motorsports in Statesville, NC is just now coming back out with his TKM built 427cid LS power plant in his shop built and fabricated 240Z and he just released his latest video of him making the first 4 passes on that new build and it has an H pattern stick shift transmission in it I'm not sure what exactly the trans is but I do know once he gets that car dialed in he is also going to jump right into the 6s range and shouldn't have a problem doing it as long as everything in the car stays healthy

I still can't believe that the little Integra that could took it home this year I mean I've seen that car take down some monsters in the past and it has done really well over the years in drag racing and in roll racing and for whatever reason fell short of making the finals because of a mechanical failure but this year when the odds were totally against it because the stick shift class is getting faster and faster by the day if not the minute and in the end of it all the little Integra that could seem to come out on top and take home number 1 and that just blows my mind but I have a feeling that if the 4 cylinder Honda cars want to keep up with the rest of the stick shift cars then when there is a big field of cars the track promoter is either going to have to set a bump spot for the top 16 or 32 car field and make them qualify for their spots or do like what the TX2K and FL2K promoters do and break it down into more than one class especially if they have 32 or more cars because I guarantee that the number 1 qualifier and the last car will be separated by a second or more and that will not make for good interesting drag racing like the top 10 did this year at TX2K so I hope they continue to grow and adjust to the class as it grows itself
