    When you take the turn at 0:31, in 2nd gear; why aren't you taking the turn in 1st? It looks like you have all those RPMs to help stabilize you in the turn... or would the torque of 1st gear in that turn, cause you to spin out?

    • @F1RacingGame
      @F1RacingGame 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      So if you're going in a lower gear with high rpm it stabilises you?? Because on my cbr650r just during regular rides I kinda think it's more unstable but also kinda stiff when in low gear with high revs in corners

    • @Nobody-dc8dp
      @Nobody-dc8dp 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@F1RacingGame Not stabilize you back up right, but can help stabilize and hold you at very low lean angle (depending on how far you want to lean). When you're leaned over in a turn and all that weight of the bike, is to one side. It would just fall over if it wasn't for the centrifugal force of the tires spinning at 5-13k RPM. I've noticed if I'm taking a turn at a low RPM and high gear; my bike seems to want to fight me, but when I take a turn at high RPM and low gear; my bike seems to want turn on it's owns. Seems like it becomes more nimble and almost alive. Go and look crash compilation video online and focus on the crashes that involve low slides and watch their RPMs, most aren't even above 8kRPM and their trying to lean their bikes way beyond either the actual lean angle or the centrifugal force couldn't sustain such a weight, to keep that lean angle. I want to also make it clear.... SPEED has nothing to do with this, it's about keeping a high RPM. Please be careful in the turns everyone, they aren't worth it. Especially on the poor road conditions of the public roads.

      @@F1RacingGame on a 1000 you have a lot more low end torque and 1st can really help you get through some corners faster just relying on torque and engine breaking.

      hi nobody, good question and sorry for the late answer. Our question was if i should enter in 3rd already or go in 2nd like in the video. 1st would be too agressive for entering and too agressive on changing directions. The blade has already a quite agressive character due to the chassis and our setup. This is why we are seeking stability and momentum. I chose 2nd over 3rd because the additional Engine Brake supports the turning at corner entry. In 1st there the bike would still be unstable entering (too much EB) and it increases the risk of loosing the rear when I try to push the corner with more momentum. Further in the video i missed the line; this is also a reason why the rpm dropped too much. Betweem Turn 1 and 2 line and momentum are way more important than torque.

    I have a question for you. I have 2017 cbr1000rr. Traction control level 9 also comes into play late. Yamaha R1 also had immediate intervention. Doesn't matter in bends

    • @marcmeidinger9427
      @marcmeidinger9427 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      sorry I did not check my comments for a long time. Not sure if i understand your question. I use traction mode 1. Traction mode 2 already takes away way too much power for fast laps. I cant imagine how 9 must feel like.

      didnt check my comments for long time. I am still happy with this blade. Its nice that they kept the strong chassis. The electronics improved the most. Just the standard blipper is too sensitive, had to change it. Also we put the HRC electronic kit; which need quite some knowledge to apply it.
