This channel is mainly intended to help struggling Civil Engineering Students (and Professionals in some content) to understand more the subjects taken in a Bachelor's (and Master's) Degree in Civil Engineering and to be a supplement to classroom discussion especially in these hard times of pandemic, where face-to-face discussion is almost impossible.
The creator is Engr. Adams Royce A. Dionisio, a licensed Civil Engineer, and currently a full-time faculty member in Technological Institute of the Philippines- Quezon City Campus. He is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila- Intramuros, Manila. He is also an MSCE graduate student at the University of the Philippines- Diliman Campus with a specialization in Structural Engineering. He is a former Structural Design Engineer of Sy^2 + Associates, Inc.- one of the top and best Structural Design Firm in the Philippines which specializes in the design of tall buildings.

Sir, when to use po yung formula sa section 205.6 about Alternate Floor Live Load Reduction?
When the question says so, although traditionally it is the method being used for live load reduction in floors (not roof)

Actually review na lang dapat ito ng theory of structures (structural theory) which is the prerequisite ng steel design.

Yes but that is the first topic for steel design itself. But before you go directly to design, you should have at least basic knowledge about loads because we design members proportionately with the load it will carry.

Ano pong mangyayari kung sa kalagitnaan ng buhos eh biglang umulan po ng malakas? Minsan po kasi tirik ang araw then after 2-3 hours biglang uulan ng malakas.
Stop the pouring for safety of workers and cover the element being poured at least with moisture barriers to prevent having excess water that may alter the strength of fresh concrete

how to find the deformation at B or C
Just apply a unit load on points where you want to get the deflection (one deflection at a time)

You can just get their deflection acting separately then add them.

These values are usually predefined and can be found on handbooks
