We can’t see anything only the steering wheel!!!! 👎
Just got an xse hybrid. No problems with app. I can set temp in the app. I can set siri to run a command to start the car without pressing & holding down the button. I also programmed the car to say hello to my name, give the date, time, city, state, weather summary, chance of rain report when I get in and start the car! (Great when traveling) My Siri start cmd: “Tell Herbie it’s time to race.” (My car is all white like Herbie the luv bug, lol)
That is pretty interesting. Maybe the ios version is programmed better than the Android Version. I almost never use the app because it is way too slow and buggy.
Well I take that back, I don't think it is an IOS or Android thing, I just read the reviews on the app store and the average rating is even worse than on the play store. I don't know what you did to not run into these problems.
@@EternalTrick It’s always hard to say with so many variables such as my phone type, (13 mini), software build (17.4), not sure of my car’s autoplay/Toyota app either. Plus it might also be affected by how you set up some other applications prior to installing it (or even after if it worked before). But I do have temp control but not fan speed control, the computer determines fan speed from temp desired vs the ten minute limitation of run time (x2 max). I live in Georgia now (from Pennsylvania) so now I try to cool rather than warm!
Great video! About to get this exact car in Canada and I’m wondering if you recommend doing rust proofing for this car? Thanks!
Thanks for the response. I haven't necessarily needed rust proofing for my car, but I don't think I am the best person for advice on that.
With Hertz Gold you just go straight to your car, no counter.
Yeah I have heard. I don't rent cars much so I don't think I am eligible to get it.
Can you use a headphone jack/ wired too
They do have a wired version of this headset, but I think it is USB.
Cloud alpha real good
Surround sound in any gaming headset is a gimmick and you shouldn't be having them on anyway
Wow it hasn't even been 24 hours yet and we already passed 50 views. Thank you guys for all the support that means a ton to me. Never thought an airport arrival video would do so well lmfao.
😅🛩️
Thanks man❤
No problem!
love the car!
Thanks!
I got an XSE hybrid and I love it!!
Glad to hear it!
Hi dear Hows the look wise and performance??????
The ten minutes with the Toyota app matches what GM does with their pre-start app as they only offer 10 minutes. Same thing that Subaru offers. It seems to be the industry strategy For GM the fob can also start the car, first hold one button then the pre-start. You can set the temperature control in the app fully with OnStar and GM. It seems the Toyota app is more limited so thanks for the heads up. I appreciate this test so now I know it works well with icy conditions. I live on a 650 foot mountain (I climb the whole way) and I am looking for a review of a 10 to 15% grade in deep snow (5 inches) before I buy a hybrid as my gas AWD cars (a ten year old Subaru, and a 5 year old GM) have no trouble with snow tires but I am concerned about a hybrid. Thanks for this!
Well I am driving in the Colorado rocky mountains where usually it is 6% and 7% grades idk about 15% I am just not an expert with all of that.
@@EternalTrick Do you have to climb with 5-6 inches on the ground? Do you use snow rated tires? Does it have any trouble climbing that grade? I would think if with snow tires it does not slip at all with your grade it probably will work with my more severe grade as well. We are expecting 5-6 inches tonight so if I had it I could test it but I don't so will be using our gas powered cars to get out tomorrow. Thank you for any thoughts you have on any of these questions and you input, much appreciated!
@@Buc_Stops_Here Well it is the rocky mountains and the hills are unpredictable. I just drove it up to winter park earlier today and drove up and down a mountain pass on a road covered in snow and it didn't give me any trouble. I think if it can handle Colorado mountain driving it should be able to handle any road in the country.
@@EternalTrick I appreciate that additional information, thank you. I talked to Toyota about the earlier Toyota Prius with the 15 hp rear electric motor and they said it was not enough. It sounds like from what you are stating the more powerful second-generation motor in the rear is now strong enough to get you up a mountain drive without any trouble. I live on the edge of the Appalachian Mountains so living on one of them has me concerned because when I moved here with FWD cars and put snow tires on I could not get home. With AWD and snow tires I now can. Your reassurance is helpful, so thank you.
@@Buc_Stops_Here Yeah I am sure if you put snow tires on the thing it will be a lot better because my car is able to go up 6% and 7% grades just fine with normal tires. Are you looking into getting a Corolla Cross or a different car?
"... Test Drive in Snow" - definitely missing in this video review.
What do you mean? If you look at the roads you would see they are clearly icy.
@@EternalTrick You obviously do NOT know the difference between snow and ice ... check the dictionary or Google it for your edification.
@@mjbucar Ok well if the video wasn't what you wanted then you didn't have to watch. The title clearly said snow, not ice.
@@EternalTrick "The title clearly said snow, not ice." - NO SNOW TEST ... H-E-L-L-O ...
@@mjbucar What do you mean no snow test? There was clearly snow on the road. Dude check the levels of lead in your fucking paint will you?
seems like a pretty good daily driver other than the remote app lmao
The remote app is not that big of a deal lmao I just wanted to make the video more entertaining with that rant. It is very annoying but at the end of the day I only use it for one purpose which is to remote start it when I am away from the vehicle.
Very beautiful i cant wait to make a trip to California again
_What an amazing walking tour video with incredibly informative narration and enhanced by beautiful music, the beauty and exciting of marvelous Ocean Beach scenery are clearly and distinctly explored. Thank you for sharing your passion and expertise with the world._
Thanks for your feedback I really appreciate it!
We're going out with the Charlotte Ski Club end of Feb./1st of March '24. Beaver Creek/Vail. Looking forward to the back bowls. STOKE is high!!! Nice Atomics. Are those Maverick 88 Ti's? FUCK YEAH! 😅
Thank you man I appreciate the comment. I hope you enjoy your time up there especially in March and I hear it is supposed to be an El Nino season so hopefully some good snow for you. And my skis are actually the Atomic Maverick 86 C I just got them last year and they are nice.
@@EternalTrick great video. 👍 Have an excellent '23/'24 season. Pray to Urrl for another stupendous pow year. Steep & deep! Shred the gnar bruh! 😉😜 I skied last season on Elan Ripstick 96's. Demo'd some Bent 120's at Canyons [and we lucked into a rope drop into thigh deep on Upper Boa]. Got some Rossi Forza 70 D+ Master's with race plates that I just got mounted. Super psyched to get on the sticks!
funnest thing for me was cornado island
What did you like about Coronado Island?
Next video Premieres tomorrow at 3pm MT don't miss it!
W video the next video sounds fun I enjoy watching these types of videos showing these towns
Thanks, Appreciate it!
Great video Daytona Beach seems fun nice tattoo
Thank you!
The helmet cam is better for viewing than the chest cam. Looks fun! spring skiing is fun & worth going if you can. Mammoth is probably the best for spring skiing places
I honestly have mixed feelings about the helmet cam but I will have to think about it for next season that is for sure. Mammoth is in California and I live in Colorado so going there for spring skiing wouldn't necessarily be practical. Thanks for the comment, I appreciate the support!
W video liked it
'Promo SM' 💕
Nice video! Having skied Vail often I know how difficult it is to ski and film at the same time. You are an excellent skier! The image stabililization is very good with the newer GoPro cameras, it make such a difference from non stabilized footage. The only thing I would do to improve this already good video is to add a description if what ski run your on. Either voice the actual area or show the trail signage when ever possible. Label the ski run in your edit would help. I have a ski pole mount I prefer for my GoPro 10 camera when skiing. I just got the Chesty mount I'm going to try next time. On problem I had is the battery would die mid run. I think it was the camera froze up and stopped working in the harsh conditions we ski in. Maybe the Chesty will help with keeping the camera warmer, we will see.
Thanks for the feedback man! I will take that into consideration. It is not that recording as skiing is difficult I just naturally have weird form. I am more of a get it done how I get it done rather than it has to get done this specific way type of person.
hey broskii, no editing out the parts where you crash into the trees eh. Just kidding, great vid tho. Quality is superb. Jelly of not being able to hit the slopes.
Lol I actually didn't wipe out at all. I am the type of skiier that avoids wiping out at all costs.
What mount did you use?
Backpack strap mount
Hey dude, Santa must have got the wrong address cause I didn’t get one for X-mas lmao wicked tho, waiting for the GoPro footage 🤙🏻
