How did you lock it into place once raised?
Just slowly release your hands and the weight will slowly fall
Wrong assembly! Hoist capable of 6:1 but is only working as 5:1 as shown, e.g. 6th sheave is not turning is the clue. simple fix by changing the position of the end of rope cleat to its proper place.
The hoist is actually capable of 6:1 (6 sheaves) the cleat is in the wrong place making it 5:1.
Is this a joke ? It is being used all wrong, plus the end cleat is in the wrong place!!
The instructions showed a rope stop. But there wasn't any. Ordered another one from Amazon and still didn't have one.
