I don't know why but I was extremely scared at the Hijack Duel when I first played this game. The V8 was so loud that whenever I hear it getting louder, my heart begins to beat faster.

I haven't played Ridge Racer 2, so I'm wondering... do the cars rev up when you unlock them in RR2? I usually hear nothing when I unlocked my cars in RR1.

I've been doing car replicas from this game in forza recently, and I cannot thank you *enough* for the high-res capture of these car liveries. This is the only source where I can see a lot of the brand labels, you rule!

idk if you're ever gonna see this, but what's the difference between the 2 games? which one should i get? i have a psp, so should i get ridge racer 1 or 2? does 2 have all the special cars in 1? or is it the other way around? 1 has all the special cars in 2? i played ridge racer, one of the best games ever!

Ridge Racer PSP only has 4 special cars. 3 unlock by face-off (Angelus,Crinale,and Pac-Man) and New Rally-X by get 50,000 high-score in New Rally-X in minigame with Completed Tour #18 Meanwhile,Ridge Racer 2 PSP has 8 special cars divided to 2 class Special 1 has Hijack,Wild Gang,Angel & Devil. All from face-off 2 rounds (Normal & Reverse) tour #25-28 Special 2 has Angel Kid & Devil Kid,Pac-Man,and real-life machinery Yamasa Raggio. Same face-off 2 rounds from Tour #29-32

In Ridge Racer 1, You've to unlock all 3 basic cars (Type-S) in other class except Class 1 But in Ridge Racer 2 is already available,you only have to unlock Type-R in 4 tours per-each class Tour #1 - #24 with Type Z for every 4th tour of each class from Class 1 & 2 The other Type Z Class 3-6 is unlock in package mode (Can be 1-3 cars unlock in a tour) and that happened at EX Tour

Anyone noticed that the cars are delivered from a modified cargo version of an F-14 fighter jet with the thrust vectoring nozzles of an ADF-01 falken Plus it would be nice to see the soldat crinale delivered from a Belkan Air Force jet. Soldat crinale driver be like: << So, have you found a reason to race yet? Buddy >> [cues “Zero” during 1v1 race]

Thank you for uploading this This is my favorite game back when I was a child My cousin was about to gift me his old PSP with this And his house got robbed... they got their money back, but that sweet PSP disappeared forever.
