This is a great performance of a great song. I always love the bg vox at the end, but the drummer, (fugazi guy?) made my day right around the 3:20 mark with that fill. Long live Bob.

@Fermion34 Got to brixton last night, fantastic. 1000th gig, such a long show, incredible. Sucks about the weather for portsmouth, i couldnt go to that either, had a few mates who got snowed in for that one as well. got any vids of last night?

@froshua I've been to as many UK gigs as was possible, though couldn't get to Portsmouth due to the weather. That was a BAD day! Did you get to Brixton last night? Still high from that; it must qualify for THE perfect gig.

In a business filled with so much disposable junk (eg Alexandra Burke's deplorable Hallelujah), why is it that a band like HB aren't yet huge? They craft epic, haunting, searing music, full of substance, depth and meaning. They look and sound great, and are superb live. What more does the industry need to make these massive in 2009? It has to happen. HB remain the best kept secret. Whisper it in dark, dusty street corners on your way home.

One of their all time greats. mcGinnis on guitar in chicago with wire is just too cool. Wire is the most under rated band ever, and they are rated pretty good... Newman Lewis Grey and McGinnis.. works for me. I missed this concert because of teaching... saw them over a score ago, when they recorded live for "IBTABA" Graham's bass setup was really impressive, the recording does not do it justice. Wire is always fresh and awesome.

I,m alway's telling people about what a great band they are (it's like talking to a brick wall). They should be massive but it is nice to have your own little secret in some ways.
